Tina's Praises For The Philippines Don't Sound Good To Two Housemates

Big Brother Slovenia had its nominations yesterday, and four names were announced as the official nominees for eviction this week: Jasmina, Miha, Andrej and Alen.

Who nominated who?

Here's my own interpretation of the article in 24ur.com:

Stane nominated Alen because the latter doesn't contribute help whenever there is a problem in the house. He also picked Jasmina as one of the nominees, because he feels Jasmina doesn't exist in the house, she stays silent whenever there are issues. (Mykiru: But they usually have sweet moments together just like on the pic below, where Stane is wrapped under Jasmina's chests)



Andrej nominated Jasmina because she spoke the whole week that she wanted to go home and Tina, because after coming back from the Philippines, she feels like going home soon.

Alen on one hand chose Andrej because of a cooking issue, and Jasmina because she wishes to go home any moment.

Tjasa nominated Miha and Alen while Miha nominated Filipinized Tina, because he was hurt when Tina said that she likes Pinoy Big Brother house more than Slovenian Big Brother House. He also cited Alen to be nominated.

Stripper Jasmina nominated Miha because she finds him so strange and speaks to things without sense and connection. She also nominated Andrej.

Fresh from the Philippines, Tina nominated Miha because she doesn't get along with him, and Miha causes conflicts in the house. She also nominated Andrej, because Andrej doesn't speak good Slovene, thus he doesn't talk with her that much.

Both Andrej and Miha expressed that they were offended to hear about Tina praising more her experiences in the Philippines than her stay in the Big Brother Slovenia.

'Disturbia' Remains #1 At The US Box Office

Because of its weak competitors, 'Disturbia' still dominates the US Box-Office for the week ending April 27-29, 2007. This is already the 3rd consecutive week for the movie to lord over the box office charts.

But next week, with the showing of Spiderman 3, expect the Spidey movie to be at #1 spot with more than $50 million opening weekend sales.

New entrants for this week are The Invisible (#2), Next (#3) and The Condemned at #9.

Blades of Glory and Meet the Robinsons, now on their 5th week, still stays at the Top 10.

Forced Eviction For Maricris

It's now official. Maricris Dizon of Italy will leave Big Brother House via forced eviction.





There you can see Maricris crying. Nel comforts her as Bea holds her hands. They're in the prayer room.

The eviction might be due to Maricris' tendency to hurt either herself or Bea. She was quoted as saying "kutsilyo lang ang katapat mo" (a knife is what I need to shut you up) and "baka masaksak ko sya" (i might stab her).

The pageant was hosted by matinee idols Piolo Pascual and John Lloyd Cruz, who did very well, except for the wrong identification of the candidates on the later part. It was John Lloyd's first to host full-time.

During the final scene, the traditional practice where all the candidates flocked to the winners to congratulate them, only one or two hugged and congratulated the eventual winner Jeanne Harn, while most of them hurried to congratulate the other four winners. Weren't they happy with the results?

I, personally, would want Krystle Ann Dizon to win, because she's the most beautiful and gave the best grammatically-correct answer, except that Krystle was lacking in the poise and projection category. So probably, that's a reason why they gave the title to Jeanne Harn, who can carry herself well as a beauty queen.

Filipinized Tina's Comeback In Slovenia

Filipinized Tina, who spent a week away from Slovenian Big Brother House, arrived in Slovenia yesterday.

Tina, now with straightened blonde hair, was still wearing the Filipiniana attire when she arrived and was reunited with her co-housemates.

She was so excited to tell the Slovenians of her experiences in the Philippines. She said that Filipinos are so talented in dancing and singing.

Tina also added that on her almost a week of stay in Pinoy Big Brother, the housemates never lost any tasks because they were responsible, committed and very serious of the tasks being given to them.

She even shared that in Pinoy Big Brother, there are strict orders for them to conquer their fears. There were extraordinary heavy tasks, citing one housemate (Saicy) who is afraid of snakes and Big Brother had her dance with nine phytons adorning her body.

Of course, she did not forget to tell about the "balut" and according to her, the Filipinos kill small hens, and she really really didn't like the idea of eating it.

Probably by now, she has already learned of what happened to Pero and I'm pretty much sure she'd be sad with the racist remarks made by her fellow housemates because for sure, the Filipinos have a special place in her heart.

Wendy Is Automatically Nominated; Bruce Is Exempted

Because of Bruce Quebral's exemplary accomplishment as a housemate and a Filipino for the Big Brother Swap in Slovenia, Big Brother spared him both to nominate and to be nominated.

But the good news for Bruce was shortlived when Big Brother also announced that his acting girlfriend Wendy Valdez is automatically nominated for not turning on her lapel microphone on one instance.

Prior to the announcement, Wendy confessed to Big Brother about the incident before the latter calls her attention , but it seems like on her case, it doesn't pay to be honest. I think Big Brother should have studied it very carefully considering Wendy's honesty.

Wendy will be joined by other nominees, to be determined tomorrow night.

PBB Host Toni Gonzaga announced that one housemate will have an automatic or forced eviction. I guess it's Maricris Dizon, because of her tendency to get outrageous and might harm other housemates, especially with her confrontation incident with Bea Saw. Harsh PBB followers commented that she has the tendency to kill somebody else.

Mickey Perz, like Bruce, is also exempted on tomorrow's nomination for winning their Lig-Task Game.

Grandma and Granddaughter Will Graduate Together On May 12

It's so inspiring to know that a 95-yr old woman is graduating next month at Fort Hays State University in Kansas, US.

The graduation ceremony is on May 12 and Nora Ochs will be the new record holder for the oldest woman to graduate in college, according to Guinness World Records.

The record is currently held by Mozelle Richardson who graduated at University of Oklahoma, with the degree of Journalism at the age of 90 in 2004.

Nora Ochs, who will graduate with a General Studies degree, is a mother of three and a grandma to 28 grandchildren.

And what's more interesting is that her granddaughter Alexandra Ochs, 21, will also graduate with her.

Wow, truly Nora Ochs is an exemplary model most especially to the youth who feel like studies isn't a priority to them. I hope everyone should be more inspired to persevere and never give up to reach out for their dreams.

Bruce Is Back!

After over 24 hours of travel from Slovenia, Bruce Quebral is back in Pinoy Big Brother.

The housemates missed him a lot and as expected, the acting girlfriend of Bruce confronted the latter of his very short message when he was still in Slovenia.

Wendy wasn't happy when Bruce didn't give a message directly intended for her, or let's put it this way, she wanted a special message from Bruce apart from his message intended for all of the housemates.




Bruce must have missed Nel and spends more time with his scrubbing buddy Nel

Slovenian Housemate Gets Evicted Because Of Bruce

Slovenian housemates Miha and Pero were automatically nominated and evicted respectively due to insulting Filipino housemate Bruce, who already left the house yesterday to heed back to the Philippines.

The insulting actually happened two days ago, when Bruce was given a treat by Slovenian Big Brother, by putting up a bunch of snow for Bruce outside. While Sonja and the brown-skinned housemate was outside, amazed with the snow and was making a snowman, Miha and Pero commmented a few jokes with other housemates inside about Bruce's skin color, which the Slovenian Big Brother found insulting not only to Bruce, but to all the Filipinos as well.

Miha jokingly commented that the jacuzzi will get dirty if Bruce steps into it. Pero also joked that a milk will turn into a cocoa if Bruce puts his finger to it.

Both defended that it was meant as jokes, but as for Big Brother's judgment, it's a serious violation of his rules because both said the jokes while Bruce wasn't around and they spoke in Slovene, not in English.

Big Brother effected his verdict after Bruce's departure so as to give due respect to him and for him not to be offended with the incident. He emphasized that Miha and Pero were nominated, not because they're racists, but because they broke his rules.

Both Miha and Pero were automatically nominated at first, but Pero added another insult in the house when he commented, intended as joke again, that he wanted Sonja to strike Big Brother with a sword for nominating him, but the latter took it seriously and Pero was immediately kicked out of the house.

After eviction, Pero was given a conference, not just only with the press but also with avid BBS followers. There he stressed that his remark for Bruce was a clean joke and even emphasized that he likes Bruce for being a great guy. His statement was just misunderstood by Big Brother, he said.

In just barely a week of staying in Slovenia, Bruce Quebral has easily caught the hearts of the Slovenians.

Bruce has captivated the Slovenians with his endearing manly attitude, sweetness and sincerity as seen on Big Brother Slovenia. In fact, in the poll conducted by 24ur.com, Bruce garnered 50% of votes as Mister of the Slovenian Big Brother, beating the Slovenian male housemates.

In return, Big Brother Slovenia has thought of a way to help Bruce, to give back to what Bruce has contributed to Slovenian TV, by selling out t-shirts with Bruce's signature embedded on it.
