Meet Knut, Germany's Newest Superstar

Knut is a three-month old polar bear in Germany, which has attracted many tourists from other countries since his public appearance in one of the Berlin zoos last month.

In fact, over a hundred thousand visitors flocked to the Berlin zoo last Easter just to take a glimpse at Germany's hottest superstar.

Knut was born in the zoo last December but was raised by humans after his biological mother bear rejected him.

The bear is becoming a great phenomenon in the Germany, contributing a lot to its tourism, commerce and foreign relation. Stuffed toys, calendars, key chains and other souvenir items patterned after Knut are being sold in the country.

Knut is expected to become a significant brand name in the whole world.
