Bruce Angelo Quebral, the Philippines' Representative to Manhunt International 2002, is the newest (11th) housemate to enter Pinoy Big Brother Season 2.

On the said Manhunt International held at Shanghai, China, Quebral failed to bring home the prestigious title which was won by France's Fabrice Wattez.

25-year-old Bruce Quebral is used to experience "loss," just like in the pageant.

One of the "losses" of Bruce was when his luxurious life during his early years turned the other way around. That was when his father was diagnosed with cancer and put up all their finances for his father's recovery.

Unfortunately, Quebral family's efforts did not paid off and the head of the family eventually died.

Bruce took over the responsibility of being the padre de familia.

He then pursued his basketball career for the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons and had the chance to play at the Philippine Basketball Leage (PBL) but life was so harsh that he got a serious injury while playing a game. (Note: He was already playing for UP Fighting Maroons by the time his father was recovering from cancer.)

Since then, he concentrated on ramp modelling and doing some commercials, one of which was Revicon.

As what he said on TV, "Never say die. Laban kung laban."

Now that he has another chance as PBB housemate, will Basketball Hunk Bruce Quebral of Cainta, Rizal finally taste the victory he has been dreaming?

Pinoy Big Brother is being aired on ABS-CBN.Source URL: https://mykiru1.blogspot.com/2007/03/manhunt-int-contestant-is-pbb-newest.html
