Highlights:
The opening number was superb. The six survivors, Aljur Abrenica, Mart Escudero, Prince Stefan, Jewel Mische, Rich Asuncion and Kris Bernal, ushered the event with a superhero theme and it was Rich Asuncion who stood out during the number.
It was also great to see former survivors and avengers flock together during the opening, did wonderful numbers to show that Starstruck has many reasons to be proud of, or probably to appeal to GMA 7 for projects and assignments. Well, GMA should really bank on them and not on talents from other networks. (To count, only 27% of Starstruck survivors and avengers were given shows.)
I liked best the sexy production number of the group led by Dion Ignacio, Paolo Avelino, Mike Tan, Tyrone Perez. Second best was the dance number performed by Mark Herras, Marky Cielo and company. Other numbers were those of Katrina Halili, Jennylyn Mercado, Yasmien Kurdi, Gian Carlos and Ryza Cenon with their respective groups.
On the middle of the Final Night, each survivor was given a moment to showcase their singing and dancing skills. Aljur, Rich and Prince did their own song number while Mart, Jewel and Kris had dance numbers. For me, it was Mart who stood out for his natural dance number.
All the Starstruck 4 avengers also gave a "riot" number, riot to the sense that it almost ruined the show had it been they did not dance to the tune of "Itaktak Mo." I really love to see the boys dancing Itaktak Mo. The number was sort of a recap of the previous eliminations they went through.
Starstruck host Jolina Magdangal did dance numbers with the Starstruck 1, 2 and 3 survivors and prior to the Final Judgement, the survivors did a wonderful Itaktak Mo with the Sexbomb Dancers.
Regine Velasquez also graced the event through rendition of song numbers.
The show was too long, but over-all it was great. I'm just happy that I was able to predict the four top winners except that I interchanged Mart and Aljur.
