Walt Disney Productions have always had non-black princesses in the past. The likes of Snow White, Cinderella, Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Princess Jasmine (Aladin), and Belle (Beauty & the Beast), all are white.
This time around, Walt Disney will have Maddy as the Frog Princess, the first Black Disney princess. Disney animated princess to be exact.
Entitled The Frog Princess, the movie is tagged as "American musical fairy tale" and currently on production and due for release in 2009.
Another Disney movie, Rapunzel, is also set for release two years from now.
