Juday Movies Top Star Awards Nominees

Two Judy Ann Santos' movies in 2006 topped the nominees for the 23rd Star Awards for Movies happening on March 23.

Surprisingly Don't Give Up On Us, the very first movie of 2006 starring Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos, got 9 nods followed by another Juday starrer Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo with 8 nominations. Both films were produced by Star Cinema.

Cesar Montano's Ligalig also has 8 nominations and another Star Cinema movie comes next with 7.

Also up for a good fight is the movie Kaleldo from Centerstage Productions with seven nominations.

All these five movies are nominees for the Movie of the Year Award.
