Dennis Trillo admits baby with Carlene Aguilar

Maybe if not because of the surname "Ho" in the wrist tag of Carlene Aguilar's baby when it was born in the US a week ago, Abelardo Dennis Florencio Ho or popularly known as Dennis Trillo wouldn't be grilled by the entertainment media to speak up on the issue, which he already denied early this year.


On GMA's Showbiz Central, Sunday, September 30, 2007, Dennis Trillo has finally confirmed he's indeed the father of Carlene Aguilar's newborn baby.

According to Dennis, he's finally relieved after the admission. Relieved just like this? Haha







Dennis is already 26 years old and already on the right age to build up his own family. He is currently seen in the series Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan and Kung Mahawi man ang Ulap, and also busy filming Bahay Kubo, a Metro Manila Film Festival 2007 entry.

Cesar and Maricel reunite in ABS-CBN's Nagai-Aida

ABS-CBN's upcoming show Nagai-Aida will feature the much-awaited reunion of Cesar Montano and Ms. Maricel Soriano.

The two had a very successful tandem via the 1996 movie Kung Kaya Mo, Kaya Ko Rin as well as in TV shows Kaya ni Mister, Kaya ni Misis in 1999 and Bida si Mister, Bida si Misis in 2004.

What is more interesting is that, Cesar's wife Sunshine Cruz will also be part of the said series.

On TV reports, Cesar did not name what TV series he will be starring in and only mentioned he would be working with a popular dramatic actress, but there's a "very strong" possibility that the series he is referring to is Nagai-Aida, with the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.

Nagai-Aida is set to premiere in 2008 and will also star Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson and Ms. Ai-Ai de las Alas.

But prior to that, Cesar will set his comeback to the Kapamilya Station this October 20, for the premiere of his new weekly show Mano-Mano, a reality boxing show reminiscent of Sylvester Stallone's The Contender and Robin Padilla's Kamao: Matira ang Matibay.

With this new development on Cesar Montano's career, is he giving up his Hollywood dream?

Acording to Internet Movie Database, Cesar has one more Hollywood 2008 movie, entitled Another Deep Breath with Fil-Canadian Hollywood actress Jane McLean.

'Harry Potter' beats 'Spider-Man' in the National Movie Awards 2007

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix took home 3 honors at the 1st National Movie Awards, Friday, September 28, 2007.

Other than the Best Family Film award, its two lead stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson won the awards for Best Male and Female Performances respectively, beating senior actors such as Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Daniel Craig.

Daniel Radcliffe sets new Guinness World Record

The Guinness World Records 2008 is finally out today, September 28, 2007 and over a thousand new records can be found in the book. One of those is Daniel Radcliffe sharing with his Harry Potter co-star Emma Watson the record for having the Highest Average Box-Office Gross per movie.







Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise has also snatched a record from Johnny Depp as the Most Powerful Actor in the world, while Brad Pitt's past and present, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, share the record as Most Powerful Actresses.

John Uy, a mix of Sam Milby and Yul Servo

According to some, Be Bench grand finalist and newest Star Magic talent John Uy resembles Sam Milby and Yul Servo.

And probably that's a reason why Piolo Pascual comes into the picture. Piolo was dragged into gay issues with Sam Milby and Yul Servo before, and as of latest development, the heartthrob singer-actor is now being maliciously linked to John Uy and another Bench model Ron Morales.




On Abante-Tonite under Alfie Lorenzo's column, someone sent this via e-mail:

"Nag-iiba po kasi ang boses niya (Piolo) at kilos kapag ‘yung dalawang boys na po ng final six sa Bench ang tinatawag. ‘Yung para po bang ‘pa-girl’ na ang kilos niya."

"Una po, kapag si John na po ang nasa stage, lagi na pong nakangiti si Piolo, tapos, po parang ang saya-saya niya. Di po kaya dahil parang pinaghalong Sam Milby at Yul Servo si John…?

"Second po si Ron, napansin ko po, kailangan pa po kasing kumbaga tawagin ni Kris si Piolo para tuluy-tuloy ‘yung hosting.

"Kasi po, one time, nahuli pong nakatingin lang si Piolo kay Ron lalo po pag naka-underwear lang ang mga scene ni Ron.

"Tapos po, hawig din siya ni Brent Javier na natsismis po kay Piolo na pinadalhan pa raw ng mineral water at basket of fruits nung sumasali pa si Brent sa mga bikini open.

Well, it's just a reader's opinion, but what do you think?

Shall we expect more Piolo and John gay issues someday?

To quote from John Uy during the Be Bench Grand Finals, "This will not be the last time you'll hear from me." But too bad to hear about John on gossips like that linking him to Piolo Pascual.

On one hand, it could be of great help to John's career. Sam Milby was able to get through with it and look at him now. Sam is still a bankable star despite gay rumors with Piolo Pascual.

Two teen stars vie for beauty pageant titles

Stef Prescott, 17, and Princess Ryan, 18 have been chosen to represent the Philippines in Miss Internet World 2007 and Miss Bikini International 2007 respectively later this year.





Stef Prescott was a favorite to win in Starstruck 4: The Next Level, a reality talent search on GMA 7, but only to end up in the Top 6 along with another top favorite Paulo Avelino. She is currently being seen in the weekly teen-oriented show Boys Nxt Door, starring with other Starstruck 4 graduates. Having been chosen as the Philippine representative to Miss Internet World 2007 is a bit surprising for a teen star like her, but considering her sophisticated beauty and confidence, Stef is definitely a perfect choice to participate in the said contest, more so in other major international beauty pageants.



In Miss Internet World 2007, the finalists will be chosen based on online votes. The finalists will then be flown to London for the coronation night, and the grand winner will be chosen by a panel of judges. Voting begins November 4 and ends up November 9, 2007. Updates on the said competition is here and there you can see Stef Prescott already enlisted as one of the contestants.







Princess Ryan is a member of ABS-CBN's Star Circle Batch 13. Soon after, she was seen with the Hunks in the defunct show Bora and among other appearances in ASAP, Love Spell and Maalaala Mo Kaya. She also co-hosted T.E.E.N.S. with PJ Valerio on ABC 5.

Princess Ryan is the rumored girlfriend of teen actor Alwyn Uytingco, and she made buzz in the middle of the year when she was pointed out as the cause of break-up between Alwyn and his then girlfriend Jill Yulo.

Joining in beauty pageants such as Miss Bikini International 2007 is not a surprise though for Princess, because before she became part of Star Magic, she was a contestant in MTB's Miss Global Pinay, representing Ireland.

Just this month, Princess easily won other 4 finalists in the 3rd Batch of U Can Dance Ver. 2.0 thus making her as one of the grand finalists of the said reality dance contest.

Be Bench final 3 boys admire Piolo Pascual

ABS-CBN's Star Magic has proudly announced the Be Bench / The Model Search grand winners Carlo Guevara and Regine Angeles as well as the other top finalists Ron Morales, Kristine Nieto, John Uy and Michelle Carbonell, as their new Kapamilya talents in a press conference held this week.

On the said press conference, all the boys interestingly mentioned Piolo Pascual as the male star they idolize. Regine and Kristine picked Sam Milby, while Michelle also chose Piolo Pascual.

John Lloyd Cruz, Kristine Hermosa, Angel Locsin, Toni Gonzaga, Anne Curtis and Judy Ann Santos were also cited once as the neophytes' favorite stars, Kapamilya stars to be exact.

Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual for sure would be glad to know that the three gorgeous boys admire him. It shows that his achievements as an actor, model and singer set as an example to aspiring stars, more so inspire them "to be like him." I just hope these three new Bench models will not find themselves trapped in a "gay" issues or something, with anyone or with the king of gay intrigues himself, Piolo Pascual.

If in case it happens, Sam Milby would just laugh out and be relieved finally with the never-ending issue linking him to his friend Piolo Pascual.

Prinsesa ng Banyera's leading men TJ Trinidad and Rafael Rosell

The gorgeous TJ Trinidad teams up again with Kristine Hermosa in ABS-CBN's upcoming series Prinsesa ng Banyera after their successful show Gulong ng Palad in 2006, while URIAN Best Supporting Actor Rafael Rosell is paired for the first time with Angelika de la Cruz.

Prinsesa ng Banyera also gives way for Kristine and Angelika to star together for the second time since their stints in the hit show Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas in 2003 with their former boyfriend Jericho Rosales. Casting these two beautiful ladies together is already an interesting one.

The inclusion of TJ Trinidad and Rafael Rosell as the male leads in Prinsesa ng Banyera supports the fact that Prinsesa ng Banyera has gathered the best faces on television. The series also stars four teen cuties, Dino Imperial, Joem Bascon, Denise Laurel and Andi Eigenmann, daughter of Jaclyn Jose and Mark Gil.
