Joey de Leon is obviously not yet ready for any reconciliation.
On his column in Manila Bulletin Wednesday, September 19, he wrote another meaty article referring again to the controversial incident on a game show.
Entitled "TV Host Found Guilty of Plant There," Joey de Leon is quick to note that the article is a spoof only (probably of the verdict to a former president who was found guilty of plunder and a noontime show host who was figured into a game scam).
Here's an excerpt of the said article:
"What is Plant There? It is a crime committed in a game show wherein you plant two or more numbers in a box which is supposed to have only one. This is punishable by Ridiculusion Perpetua — or to be ridiculed for life (also: Pacencia Ca or Nagcamali Ca Nang Tinira).
And to be free from penalty, you need a Pardonna. But first, you have to change and have amnesty (actually, its sound-alike — honesty). What is Pardonna (actually, Pardonna Dolorosa)? It means two ladies who are standing by your side, grieving while you ask for forgiveness on TV. And maybe, this court (jester) will absolve you.
Then maybe too, Reconciliacion Perpetua is possible.
And because my case seems to be in its closing stage, I think it’s time for me to thank those who supported me in this, my latest battle against the Big C (multiple choice: Charmer, Cheater, Crier)."
