According to recent reports, sandstorms are reducing parts of Great Wall of China to "mounts of dirts" and may be totally gone after 20 years.

Sad to know that, considering the Great Wall of China tops the new list of the world's Seven Wonders and is one of the most visited places on earth.

China's local museum head Zhou Shengrui said that the alarming section of the Great Wall of China is made of mud instead of brick and stone, thus more prone to erosion.

Puerto Rican pop singer Ricky Martin scored 4 nominations in the 8th Annual Grammy Awards. He's up for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Album and Best Long Form Music Video.

However, Ricky Martin fell short of one nomination from Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra who has 5 nominations which include Best Merengue Album, Best Engineered Album, Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year other than the 2007 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year citation.

After her controversial answer during the Miss Teen USA 2007 last Friday night, Miss South Carolina Caitlin Upton guested on TODAY show to defend her answer on map question. I think her follow-up appearance saved her, and it was such a brave gesture for her to do so, after the harsh criticisms and "stupid" remarks.



Miss South Carolina Lauren Caitlin Upton finished 3rd Runner Up on the said pageant.

This is High School Musical 50 years from now...


It was the introduction/opening number in the recently concluded Teen Choice Awards last August 26, 2007.

My favorite Zac Efron (of the High School Musical fame) won as Choice Male Hottie while Jessica Alba was his female counterpart. Zac could not almost speak because of the loud scream.

Hale's Champ Lui Pio

Champ Lui Pio of the band HALE is one of the Candy Magazines' 142 nominees for 2007 Certified Candy Cuties.

Candy Magazine is a popular magazine for Filipino teens, and it's amazing that Champ Lui Pio, who is already 25 years old, managed to be part of the list. Well, he deserves to be in the list with his chinito innocent features and consider also that he's a popular music idol to the young adults and the teenagers.

HALE's hits include The Day You Said Goodnight, Shooting Star, Blue Sky, Kung Wala Ka, Kahit Pa and a lot more.

Other 25-year old cuties who made it as nominees include Blake Lewis, Christian Bautista, Franco Chan, Gian Magdangal, Guji Lorenzana and Sean Faris. Except for Franco and Sean, they're all singers.
