Despite limited preparations, Mister Philippines Jeff Surio managed to place in the finals of Mister International 2008, which was held last night, November 24, 2008 in Taiwan.Jeff actually had no preparations at all, because he was the last-minute replacement to the original Mister Philippines Ryan Roberts, who unfortunately had a seizure during the first day of the competition in Taiwan.
Jeff was one of the Top 10 semi-finalists in Mister International with Mister Vietnam Ngo Tien Doan as the titleholder.
It was Jeff's very first participation in an international pageant, unlike the eventual winner from Vietnam who already competed in Manhunt International 2007.
I suppose Jeff and Doan turned out to be good friends if we take a look at these photos:

I would like to congratulate Mr. Mike Lim, the organizer of Mister Philippines International, for giving us Surio, and Roberts as well, who lived up to expectations and make Mister Philippines International indeed a classy male pageant in the country.
