I have already likened Maciel Moreno Mendes during the Mister Brazil World 2008 pageant last March. In fact, he was my top favorite to win the title, but he only ended up as a runner up (Mister Brazil International 2008).
And now, as Brazil's representative in the ongoing Mister International 2008 pageant in Taiwan, Mendes is again one of my favorites along with the contestants from Angola, China, Latvia, Lebanon, USA, Croatia, Belgium, Slovenia, Malta, Luxembourg and the Philippines.
It would be a tough job though for Mendes to snatch the title as the outgoing titleholder of Mister International is from Brazil.
Maciel Moreno Mendes is 24 years old and a professional model in Brazil. He dreams of becoming an international model and winning in Mister International 2008 could pave the way to it.
In fact, he already moved to Asia prior to the pageant to follow his dreams.
What's Maciel's best trait? He is always in good mood.
