Yes, it's true. Gretchen Barretto thru his manager-friend Boy Abunda admitted on Philippines' premiere showbiz program The Buzz that she's the one in the photos with award-winning actor John Estrada.
It was already confirmed yesterday by Rufa Mae Quinto that the photos were taken at her residence during a surprise birthday bash given to her last May 27th by boyfriend Erik Santos.
Rufa Mae was shocked about the photos of John and Gretchen, considering it was a private birthday celebration, where only trusted and close friends were present.
And today, Gretchen has sent an official statement in the Buzz that the photos of John and her are genuinely true and real. She also added that the photos were taken using John's very own mobile phone, by the actor's friend named Jay.
She is yet to appear next Sunday on the Buzz, but for now, she said that she's troubled about how the pictures leaked to other people.
Boy Abunda stressed that there is no affair between Gretchen and John and there will be no sex video coming out, as opposed to the claims of some people.

Would it be John Estrada, himself, was the one who carelessly leaked the scandalous photo to other people?
I personally admire Gretchen's courage to admit it, at least she did not deny it. But my worry is how other people would judge her more about the incident and how her partner Tony Boy Cojuangco would react to it.
And now that she confirmed it, it also confirms the write-ups and the blind items about the issue before.
As one commentor here said, Gretchen probably was drunk and didn't know what she was doing that time.
