Andrew Schimmer is 1st Runner Up in Slimmers World Great Bodies 2007

The only actor among the finalists, John Andrew Schimmer won 1st Runner Up during the Slimmers World Mr. & Ms. Great Bodies 2007 finals held December 01, 2007 at the PICC Plenary Hall.

Andrew lost to James Mark Banzon, according to the results you can find at Pinoy Urge.

That's the same competition won by actor Carlos Morales and actress Jackie Lou Blanco.

As for Andrew, the year 2007 can be considered as one breakthrough year for him despite being in the entertainment scene for 6 years already.

Other than joining the said bodybuilding competition, Andrew appeared in the 2007 movies Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat, Pasukob and Green Paradise as Cristine Reyes' leading man.

He was also known for being the ex-boyfriend of Katrina Halili.
