Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion have reportedly broken up. Are you surprised?



If you're one of those who doubted their relationship ever since, then you aren't surprised at all to hear about their breakup.



The rumored breakup began circulating early this week despite KC sharing on The Buzz last Sunday about their 10th monthsary.



But it remains just a rumor as no confirmation yet coming from KC and Piolo themselves.



However, KC's Twitter posting this afternoon would hint about something (that she and Piolo have already broken up?). She posted: "when things go beyond our Understanding, we can choose to Accept everything - just as they are..! because Faith steps in :) no regrets ... :)"



It's sad to know if it's true that they already broke up 'coz they're a beautiful couple and they seem perfect for each other.



Piolo and KC started dating while working for the teleserye "Lovers in Paris" in 2009 and it's only last January that the two admitted that they've been "on" since October 21, 2010. (Read: Piolo Pascual finally admits relationship with KC Concepcion)



Some people believed that the admission was just a publicity stint especially when the couple later appeared in two TVCs, for Real Leaf Green Tea and Century Corned Tuna.

In her previous ad for Century Tuna, Angel Locsin was with hunk actor Derek Ramsay, and this time, she's with rumored boyfriend Phil Younghusband of the Azkals.

Yahoo! OMG! Awards 2011 winners: Shalani Soledad, Shamcey Supsup, Jennylyn Mercado, KathBie and more

The winners for the 1st Yahoo! OMG! Awards were announced Tuesday night, June 21, 2011, at the Republiq Bar in Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.

The event was supposed to start 7PM, but it started 2 hours later with opening performance from BBS and Kean Cipriano, singing the song "Wala Na Tayo".

Hosts of the evening were JM Rodriguez and Andi Manzano while presenters included Dra. Vicki Belo, Lauren Young, IC Mendoza, Angelu De Leon, Carmi Martin, Gaby dela Merced, Marc Nelson, Rovilson Fernandez, Fabio Ide, Jojo Alejar, Divine Lee, Raymond Gutierrez and Rico Blanco.

Winners in 16 categories were actually those who got the highest number of votes in the online poll conducted at Yahoo! OMG! Philippines site from June 14 to 18 while winners in 2 categories (OMG! Celebrity of the Year won by TV host Shalani Soledad and OMG! Major Impact award given to Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2011 Shalani Soledad) were chosen based on Yahoo! Philippines! Search trends.

Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz in Head and Shoulders TVC

Angel Locsin's new leading man in her newest Head and Shoulders TVC is not Phil Younghusband, but it's her "Imortal" leading man John Lloyd Cruz.

In February, Angel Locsin already announced that someone will join her in a new Head and Shoulders TVC.

"may bagong kapamilya ang Head & Shoulders!☺ abangan!♥" Angel Locsin (@143redangel) posted on Twitter last February 26.

Two names came out as the possible new endorser of Head and Shoulders Anti-Drandruff Shampoo: John Lloyd Cruz, who's paired with Angel in "Imortal", and Phil Younghusband, who was being reported then as Angel's new admirer.

And just last night, it has been officially revealed. It's no other than John Lloyd Cruz, who's making a big shift, from endorsing Clear Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for 2 years, he's now endorsing its rival brand.

If you can still remember, there was an issue before between John Lloyd Cruz and Clear with regard to the Clear TVC in 2009 which supposedly starred John Lloyd with Piolo Pascual and Dingdong Dantes.

John Lloyd reportedly backed out because he was unhappy with the exposure that Clear was supposed to give to him in the new commercial. Jericho Rosales replaced him in the said TVC.

In all fairness to John Lloyd, he accepted Head and Shoulders offer to be its new endorser, more than a year since his contract with Clear expired in Dec. 2009.

The new Head & Shoulders TVC of Lloydie and Gel came out 2 weeks after their show "Imortal" aired its successful finale last April 29.

Do you think the release of the new TVC is kinda late? It just shows that the two's successful loveteam still continues even if Imortal is over already.

Perhaps, a movie for them could be next.

It's good to see these great-looking couples in just one TVC, especially that they come from different networks.

Azkals' Phil Younghusband has topped Mykiru's January 2011 Hottest Hunks Poll.

The said poll, which is a qualifying stage for the Philippines' Hottest Hunks Poll for 2011, had 20 names of men as choices and asked the voters for 10 hunks who they think were the hottest in January.



It was Phil Younghusband who got the highest number of votes, 12.33% of the total votes while Piolo Pascual, boyfriend of Phil's crush KC Concepcion, came in 2nd with 10.57%.

"Iñigo Pascual's duet with Papa P", "Celebrity Weddings", "Binibining Pilipinas" are 'hottest items' in January 2011

The duet of Iñigo Pascual and his Papa (Piolo Pascual), the candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2011, Willie Revillame's latest outburst and big-time celebrity weddings were among the "hottest items" on Mykiru Isyusero in January 2011.

Those hottest items were the 20 most viewed posts on this blog last month.

The Top 20 is actually full of posts about weddings, 9 of which are about the 2 weddings held in January (Kristine-Oyo, Roxanne-Elton nuptials) and even the 2 weddings that happened last December (Maggie-Victor, Ogie-Regine nuptials).

But those are expected.

I am more amazed with the duet of Papa P and his son Iñigo Pascual. Their 2-minute duet during Piolo's birthday celebration on ASAP Rocks last Jan. 9 drew so much attention to become one of the hottest items last month, ranking 13th just behind those usual "hits".

It was actually Iñigo's first ever TV appearance (and also his first performance on TV).

Last July, the Twitter issue between "Inigo" (allegedly a poser) and Piolo's now girlfriend KC Concepcion was also among the most popular topics for that month ranking 2nd and even continued as among the hottest in August.

And for the over-all Top 50 posts for 2010, the said Twitter controversy ranked 17th.

It's a proof that many people are really interested with Piolo's son.

Other hot items in January was the Daniel Matsunaga elevator video, Jasmine Curtis meeting Mark Salling in Boracay and the TV Patrol's footage of Boracay tourists doing a "thing" in the island.

Piolo Pascual is naked on UST's new Quattromondial monument

Piolo Pascual has a naked life-size statue at the new Quattromondial monument of the University of Sto. Tomas where Piolo spent his college years.

Piolo Pascual's bronze statue was among the 4 figures at the said new UST monument, which was unveiled as part of the university's Quadricentennial or
400th Anniversary celebration.





The hunk actor's statue represents the male students of UST and symbolizes "excellence".

Beauty queen-turned-TV host Charlene Gonzalez meanwhile also has one among
the 4 statues and she is representing the female Thomasians, symbolizing "erudition".

While Charlene is a Psychology graduate from UST, Piolo on one hand is an undergrad. He took up Physical Therapy and was a member of Teatro Tomasino, a theater arts group in UST.

On The Buzz yesterday, Piolo said that he feels honored and at the same time thankful because UST will be helping him out finish his degree and have his college diploma.

Piolo Pascual finally admits relationship with KC Concepcion | KC is Piolo's 1st girlfriend in 8 years! Wow!

Piolo Pascual has finally admitted that he's in a relationship with KC Concepcion.


Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion has long been rumored as boyfriend-girlfriend but it's only now that Piolo is confirming it to the public.

On The Buzz this afternoon, he revealed to host and fellow Thomasian Charlene Gonzalez that he and KC have been "on" since October 21, 2010.

Still new! But Piolo disclosed in the live interview that he courted KC for two long years. Wow!

He also apologized to the viewers and the fans if he only admitted it just now because he has to protect the emotion and the feeling of his 13-year-old son, Iñigo Pascual.

I actually can't grasp his reason but probably it's because Iñigo was against their relationship, but now everything is okay with his son so Piolo's now ready to admit it. That's how I interpret what he said.

He also cited another reason why he's officially admitting his romance with KC, who he calls as 'My Princess'. "Para tumigil na 'yung nagpaparinig kay Kristina. Joke!... Marami kasi nagsasabing may gusto kay Kristina, gusto siyang i-date. So I would like to let everyone know that she's taken."

In my previous post, I already took notice that lately, Piolo has become vocal of his true feelings for KC after atleast 3 men openly expressed admiration for KC. They were BlackEyedPeas' Apl.de.ap, Daboy's son Rhap Fernandez and Azkals' Phil Younghusband.

For the record, it's only the first time that Piolo is proud to announce on national TV that he has a girlfriend.

As revealed by Piolo Pascual himself, KC is his first girlfriend in 8 years. (Pops Fernandez was, I guess, his last gf before KC.)

Phil Younghusband crushes on Angel Locsin & KC Concepcion | Piolo Pascual reacts!

Phil Younghusband of the Azkals has admitted on ABS-CBN's Bandila early this week that his showbiz crushes include Angel Locsin and KC Concepcion. (Good choices Phil!)

It already came to the attention of Angel and KC with both girls feeling flattered to hear about it. (Who wouldn't be?)

In a report from ABS-CBNNews.com, KC even said that Phil reminds her of Sam Milby. (How come?)

Phil himself isn't convinced by it. "Just saw the comments from Angel and KC. Thank you for the comments. Not sure about the Sam Milby thing though ha ha," Phil said on Twitter last night.

It's also last night when SNN reported about Piolo Pascual's reaction on Phil having a crush on his rumored girlfriend KC.

And Piolo isn't threatened at all. "I guess anybody is entitled to that. Hindi naman natin mapigilan ang mga tao to express their intention or say what they feel. May security naman so walang tayong problema," he told SNN.

Phil isn't actually the first to express admiration for KC. There's Apl.de.ap of BlackEyedPeas and even Daboy's son Rap Fernandez.

With many men admiring KC, Piolo becomes very vocal now in expressing love for KC.

He was asked again by the SNN reporter last night if he's referring to KC when he was quoted saying "Yes, I'm in love" in a previous interview.

And Piolo said "Meron pa bang iba?", which is already an official declaration of the real score between Piolo and KC.

KC should be next to publicly declare her love for Papa P.

Going back to Phil, if you're wondering why he and brother James are not in Bacolod for training along with the other Azkals members, it's because the two are in Palawan now.

With whom?

No, just the two of them.

They arrived yesterday and they will conduct there a 2-day "Train the Trainers" sports clinic, a program that they already conducted in Katipunan last Jan. 13 and in Tarlac last January 20 and 21.

By Saturday, Phil and James will follow the other Azkals in Bacolod and join the team's training for their Feb. 9 match against Mongolia which will be held at the Bacolod Stadium.

Piolo Pascual tops Astrovision / Astroplus charts with his "Decades 2" album

Piolo Pascual has topped the latest Astrovision/Astroplus album charts.

Piolo's "Decades 2" album was the top-selling album from January 3 to 9, 2011, both on OPM and Over-All categories.

His album actually has already topped the charts during its debut week, December 13 to 19, and now it's back on top.

It's indeed one great gift for Piolo who has just celebrated his 34th birthday yesterday, January 12, 2011.

In the OPM chart, Piolo is back at #1, dislodging Willie Revillame's "I Love You" album which dropped to #2.

He also rules in the Over-all chart (OPM and Foreign) as the new #1, from being #10 the previous week.

Sharon Cuneta falls on stage, rushed to the hospital after her Mega 2011 Birthday Concert

Sharon Cuneta fell on stage during one production number at her "Mega 2011: The Sharon Cuneta Birthday Concert" held in Araneta Coliseum last night, January 11, 2011.

The incident happened while Sharon was doing a prod with Billy Crawford and RJ Jacinto and it reportedly silenced the ecstatic crowd who flocked the venue to celebrate with the Megastar on her special birthday concert.

But as a professional artist that she is and despite not feeling well already, Sharon managed to finish the concert for the love of her fans.

Proof to that is the concert's finale number of Sharon Cuneta with no less than Sarah Geronimo. (Wow! Sarah is indeed special to the Megastar.)


Sharon had to be rushed to the hospital Emergency Room right after the concert. "The Megastar even had to use a wheelchair while she was escorted out the South Gate of Araneta together with husband Kiko
Pangilinan," @abscbndotcom posted on Twitter last night.

Just this morning,
Sharon's daughter KC Concepcion shared to everyone on Twitter what happened after the concert. "After the show mom felt some pain in her neck and back, and also had dizzy spells. She was brought to the ER, all's clear, exhaustion lang," KC posted.

Fans have nothing to worry 'coz Sharon is fine now and already out of the hospital. "Mom is home, no more pain. Tnx for ur concern!" KC assures everyone.

Good to hear that!

The Mega 2011 birthday concert itself was a huge success with more than 20 biggest artists performing for a jam-packed crowd.

The heart-pounding acrobatic dance on air of KC and Sam. It's said to be the best production number of the evening.


The handsomest hunks of all! The three altogether performed with three beautiful ladies. Sam was paired to Toni Gonzaga, Piolo Pascual of course with KC and Jericho Rosales with Karylle.

Other performers included Ai-Ai delas Alas, Lani Misalucha, Nina, Gloc9, Sitti, Yeng Constantino, Jovit Baldivino, Enchong Dee, Sam Concepcion, Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Francisco, Chokoleit, A-Pop, Star Power Final 5 and more.

It was hosted by Erik Santos, K Brosas and Zanjoe Marudo.

The Mega 2011: Sharon Cuneta Birthday Concert will be aired this January 23, 2011 on ABS-CBN's Sunday's Best.

Iñigo Pascual sings duet with his Papa Piolo on "ASAP Rocks" (Video)

Iñigo Pascual surprised his Papa, actor-singer Piolo Pascual, during the latter's birthday celebration on ASAP Rocks today.

Piolo was singing the Beatles song "I Want To Hold Your Hand" when eventually his son Iñigo showed up on video also singing the same song.

The hunk actor was visibly surprised and he cried while watching his son Iñigo on video singing for him.

Then the father and son sang together at the end part of the song.

It was a taped video but a very touching one to see them sing together.

Iñigo also gave a short message to Piolo after the song number. "I love you Papa. Happy Birthday!"

Piolo later said after the number, "Hindi ko ini-expect na one of these days, in my life, makaka-duet ko anak ko kahit man lang sa video. Maraming maraming salamat po ABS-CBN."

It marked Iñigo's first ever appearance on national TV.

We've seen him many times in pictures, but it was the first time we saw him really moving, singing and speaking on TV.

Such a cutie. Who agrees with me?

Now 13 years old, Iñigo is growing into a gorgeous man just like his Papa.

Piolo, who doesn't look like he already has a teenager son, turns 34 this Wednesday, January 12.

Piolo Pascual launches "Piolo Revealed" coffee-table book

Piolo Pascual has recently launched a new coffee-table book called "Piolo Revealed" which contains never-before-seen sexy pictures of the
singer-actor.



Photographed by Raymund Isaac, the photos were shot in the beautiful
place of Palawan and some of them are made into 3D, as reported by PEP
who attended the book's press launch last Tuesday.

Also at the presscon, they said that the 200-page "Piolo Revealed"
coffee-table book is Piolo's Christmas gift to his fans or his way of thanking his fans.

But sadly, it's not a free gift 'coz it costs P2,500. High-priced one! (I can't afford it. How sad!)

"Piolo Revealed" is already Papa P's 2nd coffee-table book. His first was Piolo: Believing in 2007, which was in time for the celebration of
his 10th year in showbiz.

The limited edition coffee-table book is only available at Fully
