Philippines 2010 during the coronation night held Saturday, July 17, at the Metro Bar in Quezon City.
Fifteen (15) gay men competed in the event hosted by Ms. Cherie Gil and Ms. Jean Garcia, and Abuel stood out as the loveliest of them all with Marc Ernest Biala and Miguel dela Serna as his runners up.
In the Top 6 were Mike Francis Mendoza, Johnri Guardiano and Darwin Tambago.
Dubbed as the "Runway Guru", Sherwin Abuel is a 34-year-old
Filipino-Arabian fashion designer from Mandaluyong City.
He stands 5'10" and has his own underwear line called "Limon".
Sherwin is also a gay party organizer. He has organized gay parties in the Philippines and even outside the country. In 2009, he organized the "Pink Shochu Party" in Macau.
He has 8 months to prepare as the Philippine representative in the 3rd Mr. Gay World 2011 pageant to be held in his home land, Manila,
Philippines.
