'Langit Sa 'Yong Tabi' music & lyrics (Palos theme song)

The best thing about ABS-CBN new shows such as Kung Fu Kids, Lobo and Palos other than being great shows is that, they all boast of beautiful and charismatic theme songs.

Kung Fu Kids has "Kung Fu Fighting" by Gloc9 and Rocksteady while Ikaw Ang Pangarap, composed by Ogie Alcasid and interpreted by Martin Nievera, fits well to the love story of Lyka (Ulay) and Noah (Jayjay) in Lobo.

South Border returns to the scene after being gone for a while. They were commissioned by ABS-CBN to come up with a theme song for Palos.

Entitled 'Langit Sa 'Yong Tabi', the theme song is also beautiful and with that, South Border has maintained its uniqueness for coming up with a song that has a mellow-dramatic pop twist.

If you can still remember, South Border was the composer and singer of 'Ikaw Nga', theme song of GMA 7's Mulawin.

Here's a video of South Border's Langit Sa 'Yong Tabi, with lyrics below.

Jay-R Siaboc admits "past experience" with a gay

Piolo and Angel might not be so happy with the ratings, but at least, there's always a big chance for them to go higher, rather than going down.

Blind Item: Is it Jake, Mark or Patrick?

    Blind Item by Ronnie Carrasco
Published on Pilipino Star Ngayon, January 30, 2008

I’d like to think that I am quite privy to some of the naughty ‘goings-on’ sa buhay ng isang young actor na ito na nagkaka-problema sa kanyang nobya, call it the latest showbiz news (need I say who?).

Ayokong isipin na ‘yung pagiging malapit ng aktor na ‘yon sa isang bading less than thrice his age (and also in the business) ay nangangahulugang there’s something more to their ‘tatay-anak’ relationship.

Ayon kasi sa tsika ng bading, their intimacy has taken them to several episodes of passionate kissing right in his residence. Madalas daw kasing bumisita sa kanyang bahay ang aktor na ‘yon, ewan if his now-distraught girlfriend is well aware of it. Ewan din lang if those ‘tongue exchanges’ have led to you-know-what. And need I say what?

    --------------------

Isyusero's guess: Three actors namely Jake Cuenca, Mark Herras and Patrick Garcia have been recently figured into a controversy with their respective current or former girlfriends namely Roxanne Guinoo, Lian Paz and Jennylyn Mercado. Sino kaya sa kanila? O baka meron pang iba?

Iza Calzado stars on GMA 7's ESP

GMA 7's Magpakailanman is set to air its final episode and will be replaced by a horror-suspense drama anthology entitled ESP starring Iza Calzado and Alfred Vargas.

I hope it's not going to be like ABS-CBN's Oka Tokat or Nginiiig.

According to a news report, Iza Calzado will play as a reporter and there will be a new story every week.

The show's previous titles include 'Sindak', 'Third Eye' and 'The Iza Calzado Anthology' until it became ESP, which stands for Extraordinary Suspense Program.

Also in the cast are Francine Prieto, Paolo Paraiso, Marco Alcaraz, Noni Buencamino and Ms. Eula Valdez for a special role.

ESP is scheduled to premiere sometime in February, 2008.
