Kapuso hunks model shirtless on Party Pilipinas

Party Pilipinas celebrated a "Summer Holiday" last Sunday, April 10, 2011, and I super loved that song number of Jennylyn Mercado, Glaiza De Castro, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia wherein some Kapuso hunks were modeling shirtless under the Summer heat while the 4 girls were singing.

I've been looking for some photos of it and I even asked that prod's "cutie" choreographer Juan Paulo Infante on Twitter if he has pictures of the shirtless hunks haha. Sadly, he doesn't have.

But anyway, thanks to the fans of Jennylyn Mercado who posted a video of that production number on Youtube so you can watch if in case you missed it.

The shirtless hunks in the said production number were twins MM & MJ Magno, Enzo Pineda, Rocco Nacino, Ian Batherson, Geoff Eigenmann, JC Tiuseco, Will Devaughn, Kris Lawrence and Brapanese trio Hideo Muraoka, Fabio Ide and Daniel Matsunaga.

JayR and Mark Bautista were also part of it but they weren't shirtless. (Ang KJ nyo naman!)

12 pairs of stars take on the "Puso ng Pasko: Artista Challenge"

"Puso ng Pasko Artista Challenge" will be replacing Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown which will air its grand finale on December 3, 2010.

Starting December 6 on GMA Telebabad, 12 pairs of celebrities will take on the challenge in "Puso ng Pasko", the 1st ever reality Krismaserye on Philippine TV.

They will all compete in various challenges and win for the 12 families and communities (1 for each pair). Over 5 million worth of prizes are at stake in the competition.

Original hosts of "Puso ng Pasko" were reportedly real-life lovers Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera and Drew Arellano-Iya Villania.

But we all know what happened to Iya right? She stayed with ABS-CBN, leaving Drew as host in the show.

Richard Gutierrez meanwhile was supposed to be one of the 12 challengers with Solenn Heussaff as his partner. But Chard eventually backed out. Why? (For sure, you guys could guess the reason why!).

On Showbiz Central yesterday, it was announced that the official hosts of Puso ng Pasko Artista Challenge are Drew Arellano, Rhian Ramos, Vicky Morales and Richard Gutierrez.

Husband-and-wife Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz are last-minute addition as one of the 12 pairs, taking over the slot of Richard & Solenn.

"Bukol King" Rocco Nacino voted as hottest Cosmo Centerfold for 2010

Just because of his eye-catching bulge on his centerfold shot for
Cosmopolitan Magazine, Rocco Nacino is now being dubbed as the new
"Bukol King". Pwede!




And it's not a surprise that Rocco has been voted as the hottest among the 10 Cosmo Centerfolds for 2010, probably because of the "bukol" and his strong Pinoy features, which made him a standout over the others.

On Mykiru's Fun Poll which was conducted within 8 days asking the
voters to pick the hottest Cosmo Centerfold, 316 people participated in the poll and Rocco was the top choice getting 31.33%.

Sam Milby, who's this year's cover guy, came in 2nd spot, but not
close, getting only 14.87% followed by Carl Guevarra with 11.08%.

The rest all got below 10% of the votes.

PBB ex-housemate Linda Backlund loses Miss Bicolandia 2010 title to Dominique Lagrimas, a Mutya ng Pilipinas '09 semi-finalist

Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus ex-housemate Linda Backlund has just competed in the Miss Bicolandia 2010 pageant held last night, September 8, in Naga City.



The 19-year-old Fil-Swedish beauty was aiming to get the Miss Bicolandia 2010 title and supposedly her 4th title after winning Miss Camarines Sur 2007, Baybayon Festival's Summer Babe 2010 and Miss Iriga 2010.

But unfortunately, Linda lost to another beauty pageant veteran Katherine Dominique Lagrimas, who was Mutya ng Magayon 2008 1st Runner Up, Baybayon Festival's Summer Babe 2009, Miss Camarines Sur 2009, Miss Ibalong 2009 2nd Runner Up and a Top
10 semi-finalist in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2009.

Just like Venus Raj in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant, Linda finished only as 4th Runner Up in Miss Bicolandia 2010. Maybe, she also
answered poorly in the question and answer portion because in Miss
Bicolandia pageant, the Q&A also matters a lot.

It was Dominique's 3rd try already in Miss Bicolandia. She already joined Miss Bicolandia 2006 and in 2009 where she ended in the Top 10. As for Linda, it's her 2nd time. She was announced as an official candidate in the 2007 pageant, listed as 17 years old but was later disqualified when she was found out to be 15 years old and not 17. (Thanks Thian Dy for this info!)

Both Linda and Dominique are expected to join Binibining Pilipinas 2011.

Cosmo Centerfolds 2010: Rocco Nacino

Starstruck's Rocco Nacino made me speechless and silent for a minute or two with his picture for Cosmopolitan Centerfolds 2010...



I swear, I had to pause for more than a minute just to scrutinize Rocco's centerfold for Cosmo. And I must admit, he made me go weak in the knees.

Rocco may be short in height (5'7" and the shortest among the 10 centerfolds) but definitely he's not short when it comes to the "package department".


At the presscon held for Cosmopolitan's Centerfolds 2010 yesterday, Rocco felt so honored to be seated with bigger names such as Sam Milby, Christian Bautista and Matteo Guidicelli. He shared on Twitter: "Nasstarstruck ako, I'm in a table with Sam Milby, Joross Gamboa, Christian Bautista, Matteo Guidicelli...Big stars ha!!! Pressure!! Haha!!"

Don't feel pressured Rocco 'coz you're also a biggie! :-D

Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino team up for "Love Bug"

GMA 7 tries the new loveteam of Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino for its Sunday show "Love Bug".

It will be the two's first time to be paired up and by looking at their picture together, they've got great chemistry.

I'm so much happy for Rocco because as it turns out, it's going to be the first time that he'll be in the lead role. And also away from the other Starstruck V winners.

The other Starstruck V survivors such as Sarah Lahbati, Steven Silva, Enzo Pineda and Diva Montelaba will do their own Love Bug episode to be taped in the Camiguin Island.

The said Love Bug episode featuring Lovi and Rocco will be shot in Cambodia. It will soon air for a month every Sunday afternoon on GMA 7.

Lovi Poe, meanwhile, is among the busiest stars today.

Aside from the said Love Bug episode, she also hosts Party Pilipinas and stars in "Show Me Da Manny".

Lovi also has two entries in the Cinemalaya 2010: "Sigwa" and "Mayohan" plus an upcoming horror film with Gabby Concepcion, Joem Bascon and Iza Calzado for Regal Films.

Kapamilya stars dominate Bench PFW Holiday 2010 showcase

Aside from the PBB ex-housemates and the stars of Rubi, other Kapamilya celebrities who graced the Bench/Human/Kashieca fashion show yesterday were Bea Alonzo, Coco Martin, Zaijian "Santino" Jaranilla and Enrique Gil of the Gigger Boys.

Thus, it's safe to say that the Kapamilya stars were the ones who attracted the most crowd there.

Coco Martin was the big finale for the Bench showcase while Bea for Kashieca.

Whereas Stastruck 5's Sarah Lahbati, Diva Montelaba, Enzo Pineda, Steven Silva and Rocco Nacino and "Are You The Next Big Star" winners Geoff Taylor and Frencheska Mae Farr were the only Kapuso models in the event.

Spotted watching at the audience were other Bench endorsers like Richard Gomez and Enchong Dee.
