Kapuso hunks model shirtless on Party Pilipinas

Party Pilipinas celebrated a "Summer Holiday" last Sunday, April 10, 2011, and I super loved that song number of Jennylyn Mercado, Glaiza De Castro, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia wherein some Kapuso hunks were modeling shirtless under the Summer heat while the 4 girls were singing.

I've been looking for some photos of it and I even asked that prod's "cutie" choreographer Juan Paulo Infante on Twitter if he has pictures of the shirtless hunks haha. Sadly, he doesn't have.

But anyway, thanks to the fans of Jennylyn Mercado who posted a video of that production number on Youtube so you can watch if in case you missed it.

The shirtless hunks in the said production number were twins MM & MJ Magno, Enzo Pineda, Rocco Nacino, Ian Batherson, Geoff Eigenmann, JC Tiuseco, Will Devaughn, Kris Lawrence and Brapanese trio Hideo Muraoka, Fabio Ide and Daniel Matsunaga.

JayR and Mark Bautista were also part of it but they weren't shirtless. (Ang KJ nyo naman!)

JC Intal and Carla Abellana are still textmates despite JC having Bianca Gonzales and Carla has Geoff Eigenmann

JC Intal, who's now exclusively dating Bianca Gonzales, is reportedly still "textmate" with former gf Carla Abellana, who's already committed to Geoff Eigenmann.

Well, nothing is wrong with that as long as JC and Carla are only friends and their respective special someone knows about it.

It just goes to show that JC and Carla
are still friends, despite the rumor before that Carla set aside her bf then JC Intal and broke him up to prioritize her flourishing career.

Carla is now happy with new bf and also screen partner Geoff
Eigenmann. They officially admitted their relationship only last October, which was also the time when JC and Bianca started dating.

Bianca and JC though haven't admitted yet the real status of their
relationship, but I think they're "on" already.

Carla will be guesting live this afternoon on GMA's Startalk to face the issue that she and JC are allegedly still texting each other. Geoff will also be there to give his reaction on the issue.

The two will also be promoting there their new show, "Magic Palayok", which premieres this Monday before 24 Oras.

Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann are officially a couple

Kapuso stars Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann are now officially "on".



The confirmation came from Carla herself when she admitted to GMA News that she finally said "yes" to Geoff who courted her for many months.

The two started out as a loveteam on GMA 7's "Rosalinda" in 2009, which continued in 2 more shows: "The Last Prince" and "Basahang
Ginto".

Geoff is Carla's first ever boyfriend since joining showbiz. Prior to entering the biz, she was in a relationship with cager JC Intal but
when she's already casted as Rosalinda, she broke up with him to
concentrate on her flourishing career.

It's also the first confirmed relationship of Geoff. He admitted courting Nikki Gil while he was with ABS-CBN before but they ended up
as just friends.

Kantar & AGB People Ratings: GMA's "Basahang Ginto" wins high ratings

The Philippine TV Ratings battle gets more exciting as both Kantar Media (formerly TNS) Nationwide Ratings and AGB Nielsen People Ratings in Mega Manila are quite similar now.

Not with the numbers of course, but as to which programs are winning in their respective timeslots both in nationwide and Mega Manila.

Ratings results last July 5 and 6, 2010 show that six programs are winners in both Kantar Nationwide and AGB Mega Manila.

3 of them are from ABS-CBN and they are Showtime, Agua Bendita and Magkaribal, while the other 3 are GMA shows: Basahang Ginto, Wipeout and Hole in the Wall.

Those 6 shows were able to beat their rival programs in their
timeslot, may it be in Mega Manila or Nationwide.

GMA's Basahang Ginto, which stars Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann, is showing signs of owning the daytime block. It
even topped the ranking for the daytime ratings last Monday.

Hole in the Wall, also from GMA 7, had a successful pilot last Monday and it continued until Tuesday.

Just like Katrina Halili on Cosmo cover for July 2009, it's so refreshing to see Cristine Reyes as cover girl for Cosmopolitan this August 2009.



Cristine has just been named the Sexiest Woman in the Philippines for 2009 by FHM.

Last week, Cristine just renewed her contract with ABS-CBN after being rumored of going back to GMA 7.

She is set to do Cristine Reyes series, one for Your Song Presents and a new teleserye.

Also in the August 2009 issue of Cosmo is "Fernando Jose" Geoff Eigenmann.

Carla Abellana as Rosalinda hits primetime starting Monday, July 6

Carla Abellana was just a nameless model in the Jollibee Ice Craze TVC aired in 2006.

And now that Carla has been launched as GMA's next primetime star via Rosalinda, the barely recognizable model in the said TV commercial recently turned into a promising actress now worthy of attention.

Starting on Monday, July 6, on GMA Telebabad, Carla Abellana will now be tagged as the Pinay Rosalinda and no longer the model from a TV commercial as she and Geoff Eigenmann will bring delight to the televiewers as Rosalinda and Fernando Jose in the Philippine version of the Mexican telenovela Rosalinda.






Carla and Geoff make a great couple. But for sure, PBA player JC Intal wouldn't want to hear that.

Geoff Eigenmann - Men's Health - June 2009

It's indeed a double treat for Geoff Eigenmann this month of June.

After being tapped to play Fernando Jose in the Pinoy remake of Rosalinda, Geoff Eigenmann is also in the cover of Men's Health (Philippines) for its June 2009 issue.


Notice that big "KNOCK OUT FAT" on the cover.

Well, Geoff, who used to be very chubby, is going to share some secrets in having a well-defined body that he has now.

"For me, criticism is constructive. Say anything you want and I'll just prove you wrong," says Geoff as found in the cover story of Men's Health.

I think that's also Geoff's message to those who are against his selection as Fernando Jose.

Some are not in favor of Geoff playing Fernando Jose, because according to them, he's too chubby for the role and he doesn't look an inch of Fernando Carillo, the original Fernando Jose.

With that statement of Geoff, I think he's gonna prove them wrong.

The Mexican and Pinoy Fernando Jose

Here's Venezuelan actor Fernando Carillo (Fernando Jose in the Mexican Rosalinda) and Filipino actor Geoff Eigenmann (Fernando Jose in the Pinoy Rosalinda):




Is Geoff most suited to play the role of Fernando Jose in the Filipino adaptation of the 1999 hit Mexican telenovela Rosalinda?

Well, Geoff may be far more mestizo than the original Fernando Jose (who is sexier and more Pinoy-looking than Geoff), but considering his capacity as an actor, he for sure could do justice to the role.

I believe Geoff will re-invent Fernando Jose and have his own mark.

As Fernando Jose on GMA's Rosalinda, it will be by far Geoff's biggest role ever since playing Andrew/Harry on ABS-CBN's Hiram in 2004.

Yes, it took 5 years for Geoff to get another landmark role. Probably, ABS-CBN is now aware of the reason why Geoff moved to GMA.

Geoff Eigenmann in GMA 7's Obra

Geoff Eigenmann, from the famous Eigenmann family and a known Star Magic artist, is reportedly doing a weekly drama series on GMA 7.

For the second season of Obra, Geoff is reportedly replacing JC De Vera, who is currently caught in the middle of a rift between his manager Anabelle Rama and GMA exec Wilma Galvante. (JC has been rumored to be transferring to ABS-CBN).

In Obra, he will be cast alongside Marvin Agustin, Maxene Magalona, Bianca King and Sheryl Cruz.

Geoff, who had hit teleseryes on ABS-CBN such as Hiram and Lobo, was supposed to star in Moon River with Maja Salvador, but what happened with that one? Maja is now seen on May Bukas Pa while Geoff is here transferring to GMA.

If that happens, it will be a Kapuso comeback for Geoff who already starred in GMA shows (Kirara; Kahit Kailan; Love to Love) before moving to ABS-CBN in 2004.

Tracing back long before his GMA days, Geoff was actually one of the Ang TV kids on ABS-CBN with his brother AJ Eigenmann.

If Geoff is moving back to GMA, Assunta De Rossi on one hand is going back to ABS-CBN for a special role in Pieta and another one in Sineserye Presents The Susan Roces Cinema Collection: Maruja.
