Zara Aldana was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific 2007 last June, but only to be dethroned early this month. No specific reasons cited for her resignation, but according to rumors, she didn't want to be treated like a princess, or probably it has something to do with her stint in Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2.
Prior to that, Zara was Miss STI 2006 and a Mossimo Bikini Summit 2007 finalist held last Summer.
She used the name Zephora Mayon during the Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant, but this time around in Pinoy Big Brother, she reverted back to 'Zarah Aldana'.
Zara is related to former Miss Asia-Pacific winner and sexy actress Michelle Aldana.
