Candy Fair 2011 this Saturday, September 24

The Candy Fair 2011, or what I call as the Cuties' Day, is happening this Saturday, September 24, 2011, from 9AM to 5PM, at the Megatent Events Venue in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Candy Magazine, which holds the annual Candy Fair, has revealed via its Facebook Page the celebrity cuties who will be attending the said event and one of them is controversial teen actor Albie Casiño.

Now I miss AJ Perez :(.

AJ was a consistent "Candy Cutie" and attended the Candy Fair during his last three years (2008, 2009, 2010).

His brother Gello and parents reportedly are attending the Candy Fair 2011. (Probably Candy Mag is going to pay tribute to their favorite cutie AJ Perez at the said event.)

AJ Perez in 'Cinco' | Rico Yan remembered in AJ 's death

AJ Perez made a total of 10 movies, most of which were box-office hits starring the country's biggest stars.

He was part of Judy Ann Santos-Ryan Agoncillo starrers "Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo" and its sequel "Sakal, Sakal, Saklolo", worked with the MegaStar Sharon Cuneta and the Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas in "BFF (Best Friends Forever), then starred in "Bahay Kubo" with Maricel Soriano and again with Ai-Ai, Toni Gonzaga, Sam Milby and ex-President Joseph Estrada in "Ang Tanging Pamilya".

In 2010, AJ did 3 movies: "Babe I Love You", "Cinco" and "Mamarazzi".

And probably, the 5-episode movie "Cinco" was his most memorable film, where he played a lead role in BRASO episode, as new fraternity recruits along with Sam Concepcion and Robi Domingo.

It's kinda saddening that AJ had to die this early. He had a bright future in showbiz. On Star Magic 2011 Catalogue, they described AJ as the one who is next line.

True enough, coz he was already being groomed by ASB-CBN as its next big star, when he played leading man to Jessy Mendiola in "Sabel" and more projects were line up for him.

We will surely miss you AJ.

Meanwhile, a lot of people took notice of the many similarities between AJ Perez and Rico Yan, who died in 2002, or how AJ's death reminds us of Rico Yan especially when that picture, which was posted long ago by AJ himself in his Facebook profile, circulated hours after he died.

First, they were both Kapamilya actors.

Secondly, they both endorsed Molecules shirts.

Third, they both died in Holy Week. Rico died on Good Friday, while AJ died on Palm Sunday.

Fourth, They were both asleep when they died.

Fifth, AJ and Rico were both LaSallista.

Sixth, AJ's wake is being held at La Salle Greenhills, where Rico Yan's wake was also held.

Seventh, AJ will also be buried at Manila Memorial Park where Rico was also buried.

I just wanna add some more. Both AJ and Rico were well-bred. Or should I mention that they're both cute and charming?

Rico Yan was also DepEd's Youth Spokesperson while AJ was supposed to be chosen as DepEd spokesperson, as revealed on Twitter by Ogie Diaz. "Dapat pala, si AJ Perez ay gagawing spokesperson ng DepEd at siya ring choice ng Star Magic for DepEd", he said.

"Cinco" Movie Posters | 5 Episodes in 1

"Cinco" is the first ever Philippine movie with five different 20-minute stories or episodes in it.

It's produced by Star Cinema and it stars some of today's hottest Kapamilya.




Episode 1 is entitled "Braso" and features Gigger Boys members Robi Domingo, AJ Perez and Sam Concepcion (as fraternity recruits) with a strong support from Baron Geisler and Kristel Moreno. It's directed by Frasco Mortiz. It seems like the three are shirtless most of the time in the film as seen in the trailer and on the poster.




Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson topbills Episode 2: Paa, directed by Enrico Santos. Also in cast are Barbie Sabino (young Bea Alonzo in "Magkaribal") and Joy Viado.




Box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina directs the episode entitled "Puso" which is about "gayuma". Pokwang and Zanjoe Marudo lead the cast. And since Pokwang is part of it, expect some lil funny scenes in it. Also stars Bangs Garcia and Maloue De Guzman.




Rayver Cruz and Maja Salvador pair up anew in the 4th Episode called "Mata" directed by Ato Bautista. Can we call them the "Horror Prince and Princess"? The two starred together in horror/fantasy/thriller programs like "Spirits" and "Nginiiig". Last year, they both starred in the MMFF entry "Shake, Rattle & Roll XI" but in separate episodes.




Mariel Rodriguez is goin' solo (no leading man) in "Mukha", Cinco's 4th episode helmed by Nick Olanka. Supporting cast includes Jayson Gainza, Ketchup Eusebio, Arnold Reyes and Nanding Josef.

"Cinco" will be shown nationwide on July 14, 2010 with a grand premiere night on the 13th at SM Megamall Cinema 10.

I'm not yet ready to see Sam Concepcion shirtless, but I think I have to be ready now as Sam is sexy shirtless for the horror film "Cinco", produced by Star Cinema.






Yes, the Little Big Star Champion at 13 showed off his now 17-year-old lean and fresh body in "Cinco" along with fellow Gigger Boys members AJ Perez (age 17) and Robi Domingo (20), who gamely shed off clothes too.

Three of my favorite teen stars in one movie? Wow, that's a triple treat. Plus, Tom Rodriguez! That's super duper exciting!

Sam, AJ and Robi reportedly also stripped down to their underwear (boxer briefs) in one scene as fraternity recruits.

With this daring move, sila na kaya ang susunod na Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby and Derek Ramsay? Pwede!

PBB Teen Clash housemates partially revealed

Three of the 30 possible housemates of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Clash of 2010 have been revealed tonight on SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon.

But only clues were given out. One possible housemate is a sexy lady from Mindoro who also happens to be a beauty queen. (This is just another Niña Jose, Claire Cabiguin, Linda Backlund or Priscila Navidad).

Another probable housemate is a Cutie Chinito who is a veteran of male pageants. (Is he a combination of Robi Domingo or Mikee Lee and Ejay Falcon?)

And thirdly, a male commercial model who incidentally is a "binatang ama" or a young single dad. If ever, it would be the first time that a single dad will be a teen housemate. (Jamilla Obispo of Season 1 is the 1st and only single mom housemate of PBB Teen Edition).

More and more clues will be revealed on the next days. Can't wait!

Sam Concepcion is again Candy Mag's #1 celeb cutie

Sam Concepcion's official fan club Samsters is celebrating its 4th year today, October 9, 2009, and this month, it also marks Sam's 4th year to be named as the Top Celeb Cutie by Candy Magazine.

From 2006 to 2009, that's 4 consecutive years, Sam has been consistently voted the cutest of them all.

And to tell you, it's really very hard to be "consistently cute" but Sam could easily do that and will always be.

Robi Domingo alleged video scandal

Even Robi Domingo, who recently won as Top Teen Male Heartthrob, has his own video scandal on the net.

It was a blind item on a tabloid until it was eventually named by Tita Swarding of Pinoy Parazzi that Robi Domingo allegedly has a cellphone scandal video.

In the said video which was obviously taken inside a restroom cubicle, a totally naked guy who they say looks like Robi Domingo is seen not with a girl but with a gay who is all out in giving head to a skinny chinky-eyed boy.

I think "kanto boy version of Robi" is the right term to describe the guy.

For M2M video fanatics, it's a must-see! But definitely not recommended for all to see!

And this scandal has come to the attention of Kuya Germs.

On his column today in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Robi Domingo denied the existence of his own scandal video.

“Basta ako, wala akong natatandaang nakipag-relasyon ako sa isang bading kaya hindi puwedeng magkaroon ako ng sex video, puwera na lamang kung dinaya ito,” Robi said.

Don't worry Robi, 'coz it's really not you.

For a scandal like this, which came ahead of those Hayden Kho videos and especially with two non-celebrity "gay" guys, will the Senate even care to probe on this just like what they did to Hayden-Katrina scandal? Of course not.

Robi Domingo wins Top Teen Male Heartthrob

Gigger Boys member Robi Domingo won as Top Teen Male Heartthrob in the Pure 'N Fresh's Top Teen Awards 2009 held Wednesday, May 27, at the A. Venue Events Hall in Makati.

The 19-year-old ex-PBB housemate and MYX VJ host bested other goodlooking nominees such as Robi's co-star from Boystown and Gigger Boys co-member Enchong Dee, Tayong Dalawa lead star Gerald Anderson and TV host/basketeer Chris Tiu.

Clothing brand Bench, which is being endorsed by Robi, bagged the Top Teen Fashion Brand award while Kim Chiu unsurprisingly won as Top Teen "It" Girl.
