Kris Aquino has released a new album entitled 'My Heart's Journey', which is already her 5th spoken-word album.

Two of her previous 4 albums reached platinum sales, so we'll see if this new album will also reach that mark.

There are 15 tracks in the new album featuring 10 artists. Jed Madela is singing 5 of them.

Regine Velasquez pregnant, cancels live chat on April 6

Regine Velasquez has cancelled her scheduled live chat on GMA Network's igma.tv/livechat website.

The cancellation was made just this afternoon thru Igma Kapuso Facebook Page and it said, "ANNOUNCEMENT: Paumanhin po mga Kapuso, ngunit CANCELLED na po ang iGMA Live Chat with Regine Velasquez. Hindi po makakarating si Regine due to health reasons. Salamat po sa pag-unawa at abangan ninyo ang aming next live chat."

Regine's live chat was supposed to happen tomorrow, April 6, 2011, at 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

That's somehow a confirmation that Regine is indeed pregnant.

Though Jun Lalin already confirmed last Sunday on TV5's Paparazzi that Regine Velasquez is 5 weeks pregnant, Regine and husband Ogie Alcasid haven't confirmed anything yet.

The couple will spearhead a Celebrity Ukay-Ukay this coming April 15-17, 2011 for the benefit of the GMA Kapuso Foundation and we'll have to see if Regine will be able to attend the event or Ogie might just go solo.

Regine Velasquez is 5 weeks pregnant

Regine Velasquez is pregnant, as confirmed earlier by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin on TV5's showbiz-oriented program Paparazzi.

It was indeed the most explosive revelation on today's 1st Anniversary episode of Paparazzi.

The major "pasabog" was part of Paparazi's new segment "Paparasabog", a replacement of the show's "Hulaan" segment.

And according to Lalin, Regine Velasquez is now 5 weeks pregnant, confirming the pregnancy rumors which broke out just recently after Regine was reportedly seen visiting a doctor for check-up.

Paparazzi host Ruffa Gutierrez happily shared the pregnancy news to her Twitter followers:




Regine Velasquez got married to Ogie Alcasid in December 22, 2010.

While it will be Regine's first baby, it will be Ogie's 3rd. He has 2 daughters with Aussie ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren.

It's an early birthday gift for Regine who turns 41 this coming April 22.

She will soon join the list of local and Hollywood celebs who gave birth at the age of 40 and above. Among them are Dawn Zulueta (40), Vilma Santos (at 42), Nicole Kidman (at 40), Brooke Shields (at 40), Helen Hunt (at 40), Madonna (at 41), Julianne Moore (at 41), Halle Berry (at 41), Salma Hayek (at 41), Celine Dion (at 42) and Susan Sarandon (twice, at age 42 and at 45).

Mariah Carey (41) and Jennifer Connelly (40) meanwhile are also expecting babies this year.

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2: Marcelito Pomoy, who sings like Regine Velasquez, is an early favorite

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 contestant Marcelito Pomoy from Imus, Cavite, has become an instant favorite by the viewers of the said reality talent search after his audition was shown last night, March 5, 2011.

During the audition, Marcelito Pomoy sang Regine Velasquez's 'Narito Ako' to the surprise of the judges and the audience 'coz he sounds very much like Regine.

Yeah, and he is not an 'Anton Diva' 'coz when judge Kris Aquino asked, "Lalake ka talaga?" Marcelito said "yes".

He was also asked to sing more. He sang another Regine hit 'Sana Maulit Muli' and the song "Hanggang Ngayon", a duet of Ogie Alcasid and Regine.

For 'Hanggang Ngayon', he was able to do "doble-kara", sounding like both Ogie and Regine.

Marcelito's got an incredible talent that even judge Ai-Ai delas Alas commented, "Tapos na ang contest. May winner na."

Angeline Quinto looks like Regine Velasquez or Vice Ganda?

Many people claim that Angeline Quinto looks and sounds like Regine Velasquez.

In a new article posted this morning on PEP, Angeline Quinto reacted on the issue that she is imitating / copying the voice of the Asia's Songbird.

"Madami nga pong taong nagagalit sa akin, kasi ginagaya ko daw po si Ms. Regine Velasquez, Angeline Quinto said. "Di ko naman po kasalanan na ganito po yung boses na binigay sa akin ni Lord. Sana po 'wag na po sila magalit. Sobrang flattered nga po ako kasi isa rin si Ms. Regine sa mga iniidolo ko."

I'm pretty sure Ms. Regine Velasquez is also happy that Angeline won the contest. Angeline was among the grand finalists of "Star For A Night" which was hosted by Regine in 2002.

Angeline also revealed in her PEP interview that she also idolizes Gary Valenciano and Sarah Geronimo, who was the grand winner of "Star For A Night".

And if ever she's given a chance to do acting, Angeline wants to be paired with Piolo Pascual.

While many people say that Angeline Quinto looks like Regine Velasquez, "Showtime" judge claims that Angeline also looks like him.

Not Vice Ganda actually, but it was his maid who's claiming that Angeline resembles Vice.

She guested on Happy, Yipee, Yehey! and performed "Patuloy Ang Pangarap", her winning piece during the Star Power finals.

The beautiful song was originally composed just for her by Jonathan Manalo under Star Records.

and Machete. How about you guys?

Until now, no leading man yet for Marian Rivera in the epic-serye "Amaya". Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo reportedly was offered to be Marian's leading man but I highly doubt if he's gonna switch networks.

Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez Wedding Photos | Regine in red wedding gown

Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez Wedding took place just this afternoon, December
22, 2010, at the beautiful Terrazas de Punta Fuego Beach Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Two big names in showbiz industry, Ogie, 43, and Regine, 40, tied the knot in what has been dubbed by GMA 7 as "Wedding of the Decade".

Regine was so beautiful in her red Monique Lhuillier gown, which costs half a million pesos, and as you can see in the photo above, Regine was wearing a pair of black biker boots underneath.

As reported by GMA 7, President Noynoy Aquino was among the groomsmen along with Dingdong Avanzado, Michael V and Janno Gibbs.

No ABS-CBN execs were spotted at the wedding but GMA 7 bosses were of course there and even TV5 owner Manny Pangilinan, who were among the principal sponsors.

Other principal sponsors included Jose Mari Chan, Vicky Belo, Orly Ilacad, German Moreno, Vic del Rosario, Tony Tuviera and Sharon Cuneta (but didn't make it on the wedding day).

Ogie's ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren was there as a candle bearer along with her new husband Mark Morrow while Ogie's two daughters were maid-of-honor and Bible bearer.

Ogie and Regine both cried when they exchanged their vows and even the guests were in tears as they witnessed that emotional moment.

Ruffa Gutierrez said on Twitter: "Bumabaha ng luha sa wedding nina Ogie and Regine! The wedding vows written themselves. Si Regine kumanta pa. Sarap pala ma-inlove!"

from AGB Nielsen Media Research, the box office, record sales and
product endorsements.


Topping the list is the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino. She
immediately shared to her Twitter followers the good news: "I'm on Yes
cover, ranked #1 for the 20 stars who ruled the decade...Yes said they
based choice on hard stats, public perception, network assets plus the
intangibles of celebrityhood. All told, the stars who defined the

Browsing the list, Judy Ann Santos ranked higher than Claudine
Barretto and two even ranking higher than the Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

Sarah Geronimo, who I think should be ranked higher, is only #18. Star

'Diva' scores low pilot ratings; 'Diz Iz It' could not catch up on 'Showtime'

ABS-CBN ratings in Mega Manila (AGB Nielsen Survey) last Friday until Monday were so good as the Kapamilya network topped both on daytime and on primetime.

GMA 7, who usually tops in Mega Manila, has launched its latest Telebadad offering "Diva" last Monday but the Regine Velasquez kantaserye only scored 24.6% ratings way below than the rival programs. The figure is one of GMA 7's lowest debut ratings during the last 5 years.

Full House finale last Friday was somehow a winner with 29.8%.

Eat Bulaga has given up its supremacy in the daytime block as Showtime and Wowowee alternately occupy the top spot.

Diz Iz It is faring so low, with ratings that are less than half of Showtime ratings.

GMA slightly recovers, thanks 'Totoy Bato'

GMA 7 has slightly recovered from the big disappointment caused by Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang with the pilot success of its new telebabad offering Totoy Bato, starring Robin Padilla, Manny Pacquiao and Regine Velasquez.

According to AGB Nielsen's ratings survey, Totoy Bato debuted last Monday, February 23, with a strong 36.7% Mega Manila rating beating all the primetime programs for that particular day.

However, just like the failure of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, stars of Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang, Robin Padilla who plays the title role has somehow failed in matching the success of Asian Treasures, his first Kapuso drama series.

Totoy Bato's pilot rating of 36.7% is just less than 1 percent higher than Joaquin Bordado's first episode rating of 36.6% a year ago while it's over 5 percent lower than Asian Treasures in 2007.

Totoy Bato could have been GMA's big hope of regaining 40% ratings but the charms of Robin-Manny-Regine combined is not enough.

Luna Mystika, which is still airing on GMA primetime slot, had a pilot rating of 38.9%.
