Amy Winehouse found dead, SkyNews has reported Saturday, July 23, 2011.

British singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at her home in Camden, north London, according to a report from SkyNews.

Police investigators has described the cause of Amy Winehouse death as "unexplained" however, a drug overdose is being suspected.

She was 27 (September 14, 1983 to July 23, 2011).

Amy Winehouse was a Grammy-winning singer. She won a total of 5 out of her 6 Grammy nominations, all she received in 2008 for the song "Rehab" and the album "Back To Black".

The said "Back To Black" album achieved 6-times platinum status in UK and 2-time platinum in the US.

Ryan Dunn, "Jackass" star, dead in U.S crash

Ryan Dunn of the U.S reality show "Jackass" on MTV died in a car crash in Philadelphia, U.S.A early morning on Monday, June 20, 2011, only 9 days after his 34th birthday celebration.

According to the TMZ report, Ryan Dunn and an unidentified passenger were onboard the 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 with Dunn as the driver when the fatal car crash happened.

Both Ryan Dunn and the passenger died of multiple injuries.

In an additional reporting from TMZ, an autopsy is now being conducted to determine if an intoxicated Ryan Dunn caused the fatal car crash.

Six days before his death, Dunn's new series "Proving Ground" has premiered on the American cable channel G4 TV.

Chae Dong Ha suicide shocks!

South Korean singer Chae Dong Ha has committed suicide Friday morning, May 27, 2011.






According to a Korean website, Chae Dong Ha (photo) was found dead at his home this morning and he was believed to have committed suicide.

The report also stated that Chae Dong Ha (채동하) has been suffering depression which possibly led to his suicide.

Chae Dong Ha is only 29 years old and is turning 30 in less than a month from now (June 23).

He was a member of a K-pop group called "SG Wannabe" from 2004 to 2008 and since then, he was proving his worth as a solo artist until his untimely death.

Chae Dong Ha's suicide comes as a big shock as it happened only 3 days after the suicide of Song Ji-seon, a sports announcer on South Korean channel MBC.

According to a Washington Post report last year, South Korea has the highest suicide rate in the world.

In 2009 and 2010, Mykiru Isyusero was able to blog about the suicides of two celebrities from South Korea: "Boys Over Flowers" actress Jang Ja-Yeon and "Winter Sonata" actor Park Yong Ha.

And when talking about South Korean celebs who committed suicide, the list is becoming endless.

Princess Diana dying photo to be showcased in the Cannes Film Festival 2011 documentary "Unlawful Killing"

Princess Diana's dying photo will be featured in a Cannes Film Festival documentary.

"Unlawful Killing", a documentary about Princess Diana's death, will debut in the Cannes Film Festival 2011 and it's going to show a dying photo of Princess Diana.

Princess Diana and 2 others were killed in a car crash in August 31, 1997 and the Princess of Wales had "dying photos" which were taken by paparrazo right there at the car crash scene hours before she died.

But those photos which were seized by the police from the papparrazo were not released to the public for being too graphic.

After 7 years, a CBS News program called "48 Hours Investigates" featured two dying photos of Princess Diana, which provoked fury from the viewers and the program caused strong negative critical reactions for showing the photos.

And 7 years later, a documentary film is attempting to show one dying photo of Princess Film.


The documentary "Unlawful Killing", which will be screened in the Cannes Film Festival 2011 this Friday, May 13, will use a dying photo of Princess Diana and according to a report from Mail Online, it has already outraged Princess Diana's close friends.

On its official website (unlawfulkilling.com), the documentary has this description:

"Unlawful Killing" is the story of the deaths of Princess Diana, Dodi Fayed and their driver Henri Paul.

It reveals a cover-up by the British Establishment culminating in a six month inquest.

Keith Allen's ground breaking documentary recreates key moments from the inquest and demonstrates how vital evidence of foul play was hidden from public scrutiny, how the Royal Family were exempted from giving evidence and how journalists, particularly those working for the BBC, systematically misreported the events and in particular, the verdict itself.

This is the story of how the world was deceived.

Osama Bin Laden killed in Abbottabad: Al Qaeda confirms in a statement | Jamaat-e-Islami rally in Kuchlak, Pakistan

Al Qaeda has confirmed in a statement online that their leader Osama Bin Laden was really killed by the US armed forces.

That's according to Search for International Terrorist Entities (SITE) Intelligence Group, an organization which monitors the online activities of terrorists.

Al Qaeda reportedly posted a statement written in Arabic at a jihadist forum confirming Osama Bin Laden is dead.

SITE Intel Group translated it in English and according to Al Qaeda in the statement, the Americans killed Osama Bin Laden, but only by disgrace and betrayal.

As what was reported in the news early this week, Osama Bin Laden had a tape recorded a week before he was killed. Al Qaeda confirmed it in the statement and promised to release it very soon.

Al-Qaeda statement calls the day " a historic day of the days of the great Islamic umma (nation) and in a noble stand of one of its great men and heroes across its blessed age and on the path taken by the will of all the mighty predecessors and those who will follow them, the Sheikh, the Mujahid & the Commander, the pious migrant fighter, Abu Abdullah Osama bin Muhammad bin Laden, may God have mercy on him was killed in a place where truth shines and where sincerity for good deeds and the call for truthfulness exist. We call upon our Muslim people in Pakistan where our dear Sheikh Osama was killed on their soil to rise up and revolt so they can cleanse this disgrace that was brought upon them by a handful of traitors and thieves who have sold everything to the enemies of the Muslim nation, and disregarded the feelings of this great Muajhid (Pakistani) people and let them rise up and start a massive public uprising to cleanse their country (Pakistan) from the filth of the Americans who have wreaked havoc in the land”.

Al-Qaeda chimes in to OBL's body controversy and tells its supporters that OBL had one more message for them.

"The sheikh (OBL) didn’t leave this world before taking part in sharing the joy with his Muslim Umma (nation) regarding its revolutions when the nation has risen in the face of injustice and the tyrants and may God have mercy on him, the sheikh recorded an audio message one week before his killing that we will release soon, God willing and his audio message included a congratulation greeting, advices and a guidance. He ended his audio message with the following verses:

Saying the righteousness to the tyrants is the splendor & the gospel.

This is the path leading to the mundane life, this is the path leading to the hereafter.

You can die a slave if you wish or die a free man, this is your choice.

Moreover, we warn the Americans of any injustice to be made to the corpse of Sheikh Osama, God's mercy be upon him or that he will be mistreated in any despicable manner and this warning includes the mistreatment of any member of the sheikh's honorable family whether they are dead or alive and that the bodies must be handed over to the families because any inappropriate treatment will open the doors of double evil and you will only be blaming yourselves for your own deeds. We call upon all Muslims to do their duty in enforcing this right.”

Meanwhile, two rallies have occurred at the same day today, May 6, in Pakistan and in the Philippines, condemning the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

The Al Qaeda statement above urged Muslim people in Pakistan where Osama Bin Laden was killed to rise up and revolt, and it indeed happened today as a Pakistani religious group called Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) rallied in Kuchlak, Pakistan as they symphatize with Osama Bin Laden and call for a holy war against the US, according to an AFP report.

In Manila Philippines, a group of Muslims rallied in front of the US Embassy also condemning the killing of Bin Laden and also his burial at sea, which the group considers as a violation of the Islamic tradition, as reported on The Philippine Star.

Osama Bin Laden animation video: US Navy SEALs' raid of the Al Qaeda leader's compound in Abbottabad

Osama Bin Laden's Abbottabad compound in Pakistan was raided by the US Navy SEALs and CIA paramilitary operatives last May 2 (May 1 in the US), but no Osama Bin Laden death photos and even his burial at sea video have been released.

They are still sealed and will remain as such as US President Barack Obama has already announced Wednesday (May 4) his decision not to release any Osama Bin Laden death photos so maybe we have to be satisfied with this animation video of how Osama Bin Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The New York Post posted the video last Tuesday to give us a view of how the U.S. Navy SEALS and the CIA paramilitary operatives raided the Abbottabad compound in Pakistan and killed al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden based on the information provided to them by The Pentagon.

As you can see there at the start of the video, Pres. Obama and some others were watching in White House a live coverage of the raid. They saw in their very eyes how Obama Osama was killed by the US Navy SEALs.

'Osama Bin Laden Execution Video in Abbottabad' tape scam on Facebook

'Osama Bin Laden Execution Video', 'Bin Laden is not dead: al Qaeda', 'Osama killed in Abbottabad Tape' are just one of the many malware scams and spams which have become widespread online, most especially on social networking sites, such as on Facebook and Twitter, just hours after al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden was confirmed dead in Abbottabad, Pakistan by U.S. President Barack Obama.

As mentioned, one example is a death video scam which says Osama Bin Laden is dead and you can watch his execution video or how Bin Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

It's entitled "Osama Bin Laden Execution Video!" with the description: "This will leave you speechless", but instead of a video, you'll be redirected to a Facebook Page and it will ask you to like the page, answer a survey, but no single execution video of his death as promised can be found there.

And this one is more dangerous. A video is circulating around Facebook, supposedly a BBC video showing the killing of Osama Bin Laden and claims it was taped by the US armed forces. You'll be redirected to a site, which will slow down your internet connection. Believe me. It's a virus!!!

Another internet scam is an invitation to visit a site which shows exclusive pictures of how Osama Bin Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan. It says, "This is so crazy they killed Osama Bin Laden, check out the exclusive pictures!) Osama Bin Laden Killed!" and again, you'll see nothing in there.

Osama Bin Laden is dead Monday, May 2, 2011, (May 1 US time) as confirmed by US President himself Barack Obama in a live televised statement, which was broadcast around the world.

Bin Laden, the #1 most wanted terrorist in the world has been killed in a firefight with US forces Monday in Abbottabad, Pakistan and his body was reportedly already buried at the sea in keeping with Muslim death customs.

CNN has reported that a DNA matching on samples from his body is currently underway to make sure that it was really Osama Bin Laden who died in the US operation.

After the news broke out that Osama Bin Laden is dead, photos showing allegedly of his dead body have been leaked online.

GMA 7's 24 Oras was able to do an amazing coverage of AJ Perez burial even if AJ Perez was not a Kapuso or among the network's homegrown talents.

It just goes to show that AJ Perez interment / funeral was not exclusive to ABS-CBN.

Aside from GMA, news teams from TV5 and RPN9 were also spotted covering AJ's burial.

In its report, GMA was able to interview Kapamilya talents Patrick Sugui, who was AJ's classmate from De La Salle Green Hills, and Arron Villaflor, AJ's friend and fellow Gigger Boys member.

AJ Perez' Funeral Photos and Videos: AJ laid to rest today

AJ Perez was laid to rest today, April 26, 2011, at the Manila Memorial Park.

Before the burial, a mass was held first at 9 AM, officiated by Fr. Tito Caluag at Christ The King Parish in Greenmeadows, Quezon City.

At 10:30 AM, AJ's remains were then brought to the Manila Memorial Park in Paranaque City where fans of AJ have gathered as early as 9 AM to say goodbye to their idol.

Celebs spotted at the funeral were Sam Milby, Jessy Mendiola, Gab Valenciano, Melissa Ricks, Helga Krapf, Joseph Marco and more.

It was kinda disappointing that ABS-CBN Channel 2 had no live coverage of AJ Perez' burial, and Kapamilya viewers had to satisfy themselves with News Patrol Updates. GMA 7 on one hand also provided live updates of the burial via its Flash Report.

ABS-CBN reporter Gretchen Fullido, who will be reporting about the burial later on TV Patrol, shared on her Twitter account (@gretchenfullido) some pictures from the funeral:

Rico Yan - AJ Perez resemblance in new photo

Rico Yan and AJ Perez, they say, had many similarities.

Mykiru blogged about those similarities hours after AJ died, but I was actually not totally convinced if they really looked like each other. Maybe the smiles, yes, and it was just pure co-incidence that Rico Yan and AJ Perez were both from La Salle and they both died young.

But I'm fully convinced now that AJ Perez indeed looked like Rico Yan when I saw this newly-released photo of AJ Perez for Gold's Gym. Look closely, AJ looked so much like Rico here. Notice the eyes and the smiles.


Definitely, that photo above is the best proof that they were like siblings who resembled each other.

The photo above came from Ms. Mylene Mendoza-Dayrit, Gold's Gym CEO and also a PhilStar columnist, and according to her, it will be Gold's Gym ad this coming Monday on The Philippine Star.

AJ's Gold Gym photo above was shot in 2010, but only released just now as Gold's Gym pays tribute to AJ on The Philippine Star this Monday.

AJ Perez Burial on April 26: Live streaming on ABS-CBN

AJ Perez Burial is set this April 26, at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City.




ABS-CBN, AJ Perez' home network, will do live coverage of the burial which will happen at 10 AM on Tuesday.

Before the burial, a 9AM mass will be held at the Christ The King Parish where AJ's wake was being held since Tuesday.

Everyone's hoping that ABS-CBN will also have a live streaming of the burial online via its official site, so that AJ Perez's fans abroad will be able to watch it live.

To the fans who plan to attend AJ Perez' burial, AJ's family said on Twitter (@ajperez17) that you just have to go straight there at the Manila Memorial Park. "Update on AJ's burial: For Aj's interment at Apr 26, there's a 9AM mass @Christ the king. For fans, just proceed to Manila Memorial, Parañaque at around 10AM."

During Rico's burial, ABS-CBN dedicated 6 hours of its programming time just to give live coverage of the burial.

AJ Perez' wake is still being held at the Christ The King Parish in Greenmeadows, Libis and it's still open for public viewing.

AJ Perez wake now at Christ The King Parish

AJ Perez' wake is now being held at the Christ The King Parish in Greenmeadows Village, Libis, Quezon City.

AJ's body was transferred there at noon today, 2 days after his wake was held at La Salle Green Hills Chapel.

As of this writing, a public viewing of AJ's remains is happening there, which started at 9PM and will end at 12 midnight.


Fans line up for the public viewing


Spotted at AJ's first night at Christ The King Greenmeadows were Roxanne Guinoo, Ali Sotto, Elmo Magalona, Andi Eigenmann, Lauren Young, Carla Humphries, Guji Lorenzana and more.

Child star Bugoy Carino, who's AJ's co-star in his upcoming MMK episode, also went to the wake tonight.

AJ's dad also announced via AJ's Twitter account (@ajperez17)
that for tomorrow, April 20, the public viewing schedule will be at 4PM to 7PM and 9PM to 12MN.

The burial will be on Tuesday, April 26, 10AM at the Manila Memorial Park in Paranaque City.

AJ Perez at the Magayon Festival 2011 | Lucky girls!

AJ Perez was in Albay last April 11 for the Magayon Festival 2011.AJ Perez treated his Albayano fans with a fun show where AJ was the "only" featured artist.Yeah, fans came there just for AJ Perez even if another show featuring Kapuso stars was also being held in another venue.

AJ Perez was in Albay last April 11 for the Magayon Festival 2011, 5 nights before the accident which took his life.

AJ treated his Albayano fans with a fun show at the Penaranda Park where AJ was the "only" featured Kapamilya star. Yeah, fans came there just for AJ Perez even if another show featuring some Kapuso artists from GMA variety show Party Pilipinas was also simultaneously being held in another venue.

And despite AJ being solo representing the Kapamilya station, it was a jampacked event.

As you can see in the pictures below, even if it was raining, many fans went to AJ's show, stayed there 'til the very end.

That's how the Albayanos (and the whole Bicolanos) loved AJ, who happens to be a Bicolano too. His mother who is a "Sarte" came from Legazpi City, Albay.

It was AJ's 2nd to the last out-of-town show, his last show in Bicol and his last visit to Albay, his mom's home province.

And definitely those girls in the photos were so lucky to get up close, as in super close with AJ for the last time. I'm sure they're having sleepless nights since Sunday.

AJ Perez' photos at Gold's Gym, his last work-out :(

AJ Perez had a gym work-out exactly 2 weeks before his tragic death.


AJ visited Gold's Gym Galleria last April 3, according to Gold's Gym CEO and also Philstar columnist Mylene Mendoza-Dayrit.

That's a day before AJ left for Boracay where he spent 4 days along with his friends.

I ask from Ma'am Mylene a photo of AJ while working out at the gym so I could include it in my compilation of AJ Perez's "lasts".

And thankfully, she shared not one, but many pics of AJ Perez during his last work-out at Gold's Gym. (Thanks a lot po!)
