Meet Rafael Felix Tolentino III

Rafael Felix Tolentino III, 22 from Naga City, will try his first "real chance" if in case he made it to the finals of Century Tuna Superbods '09.



This Bicolano hunk, who stands 5'10" and looks like a mixture of Richard Gutierrez and Jason Abalos, had been to different minor pageants such as Ginoong Magayon 2008 (where he was First Runner Up), Mr. Tutuban Philippines 2008 and Face of the Year Model Search 2008.

The Ginoong Magayon 2008 happened simultaneously with Mutya ng Magayon 2008, winner of which was Melody Gersbach who is now the reigning Binibining Pilipinas International.

Rafael Felix currently works as a nursing assistant in a hospital in Albay.

Pinoy rock bands emerged victorious in the 1st ever Asia's Voice Independent Music Awards (AVIMA) held last night, March 29, 2009, in Malaysia.

Excluding the victories made by Project E.A.R (which consists of indie acts from 5 countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand), the Philippines won a total of 4 awards.

The 22nd Annual Kids Choice Awards (or the KCA) by the Nickelodeon (Nick) Cable Channel was successfully held Saturday night, March 28, 2009, in Los Angeles, California.

The night's host Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson while performers included the Jonas Brothers and Pussycat Dolls.

Jiro Shirakawa joins Century Tuna Superbods '09

Filipino-Japanese Jiro Shirakawa, 19, is one of the semi-finalists in the 2009 Century Tuna Superbods competition.

Jiro, who has modeled for major fashion brands such as Bench, Penshoppe, Mossimo and F&H, was one of Metro Mag's 20 Smoking Hot Men of Summer.






The Century Tuna Superbods '09 will only have 20 finalists (10 males and 10 females) which will be announced first week of April and I'm confident Jiro will make it to the finals.
