Twenty-four (24) delegates will be competing for the title of Mr. Gay World 2009 in Whistler, Canada.
It will be a 4-day event starting on February 4, 2009 and culminating on the first ever Mr. Gay World finals set on February 08, 2009.
Of course, the contestants are all gays including Philippine representative Wilbert Tolentino, who happens to be a father of a 13-year-old girl.
Whoever gets crowned as Mr. Gay World 2009 will serve as a positive role model and act as an LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) Ambassador on an international platform.
For now, my personal favorites include the candidates from Austria, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Czech Republic, Gran Canaria, Northern Ireland and Spain.
You can actually vote for your favorite candidate HERE.
