'Maria La Del Barrio' will premiere on ABS-CBN this coming March 28.

It's the Philippine remake of the 1995 hit Mexican telenovela of the same title with the phenomenal Mexican star Thalia in the titular role.

Playing the Pinay Maria La Del Barrio is Erich Gonzales with Enchong Dee as her leading man.

Poll: What's your new favorite "Shoutout" team?

"Shoutout" introduces new groupings of the teenmates starting today, January 24, 2011.

Previously, there were 4 groups on Shoutout: the Mondeerifics, Tuesdelicious, Miyerkyulitz and Friends-Thurs.

Based on Mykiru's Poll, the Mondeerifics group was the top favorite with 37.49% followed by the Tuesdelicious group which had 25.73% of the total votes.


The Mondeerifics was composed of Ann Li, Julia Montes, Rhap Salazar, Ryan Bang, Jenny Kim and more while the Tuesdelicious consisted of James Reid, Devod Seron, Emman Vera, Piero Vergara etc.

In 3rd place with 21.81% was the Friends-Thurs with members such as Tricia Santos, Ivan Dorschner, Yen Santos, A-Pop and a more.

The Miyerkulitz, composed of Bret Jackson, Fretzie Bercede, Jane Oineza, Miles Ocampo, John Manalo, Kathryn Bernado etc, was the least favorite with only 14.98%.

And now, as "Shoutout" changes its name to "Shoutout Level Up", they're just grouped into three: Team Coolelatz, Team Overload and Team Up.

Enrique Gil no longer a host on Shoutout | Plus new groupings: James Reid gets all the girls | Tricia and Ivan in separate groups

ABS-CBN's teen variety show "Shoutout" will have a major, major revamp starting this Monday, January 24, 2011.

From 4 groups, the teenmates are now just grouped into 3, with the PBB loveteams still intact except for TriVan (Tricia Santos and Ivan Dorschner) who are now in two separate groups.

Tricia is now in one group with Ann Li, Devon Seron and James Reid.

That just means, James will be dividing himself into three loveteams: JaeVon, JaCia and JamLi.

The new groupings were revealed on yesterday's episode after ABS-CBN gave the teenmates one more month to shape up and improve, 'coz if not, Shoutout will be cancelled.

Do you think it will happen that Shoutout will go off-air? I don't think so.

I believe that it's just their way to motivate the teenmates.

What I didn't like on yesterday's episode was the way they shamed the teenmates on national TV. Why is ABS-CBN management blaming the teenmates of the show's flaws when in fact they're the ones to be blamed?

If a teenmate is pa-cute, not talented or not showing his or her best, why did they include him or her in the show in the first place?

I also didn't like the way they "demoted" Enrique Gil. From being a regular host, Enrique will now just be a member of one of the groups.


According to Shoutout's Business Unit head Joyce Liquicia, a viewer made a complaint why Enrique is hosting the show. "Sino ba 'yung Enrique? Hindi namin siya kilala. Bakit naghohost na siya? Nag-workshop ba siya?" the viewer allegedly said about Enrique.

It was read on TV, their way of putting Enrique into shame.

But why do they have to give in to that comment?

If someone doesn't know Giggerboys member Enrique Gil, who also happens to be a sought-after commercial model (Sprite, Samsung, Jollibee etc.), it either means he/she is not a Kapamilya or he/she doesn't watch Shoutout at all. Or it could be, he/she wants someone to take Enrique's place.

Hosting Shoutout is Enrique's biggest break after being in showbiz for almost 3 years, but now they're taking it away from him and he will just end up as a group member, joining the newbies and former child stars.

[But atleast he's still part of Shoutout, rather than being removed from the show]

Ann beats Angel as Hottest Babe for 2010

The gorgeous Angel Locsin has lost Mykiru's "Hottest Babe" 2010 title to two newcomers.

In 2007 poll, Angel was voted as the Hottest Babe for that year and three years after, as the poll is revived this 2010 (and hopefully will be conducted again in 2011), Angel drops to #3 with two new faces getting the top 2 spots.

The fashionable and sweet-faced Ann Li of PBB Teen Clash 2010 was picked as the Hottest Babe in the Philippines for 2010 with the beautiful Tricia Santos, also from PBB Teen Clash 2010, in 2nd place.

This for sure makes the JamLi fans so much happy as James Reid was the one who topped the Hottest Hunks 2010 Poll.

If you can remember, it was also the JamLi who won the POP TWEEN category in the 2010 ASAP Pop Viewers' Choice Awards.

Gerald Anderson, Sam Milby, Christian Bautista fight for the "Hottest Hunk 2010" title

Gerald Anderson, Christian Bautista and Sam Milby are currently leading on the Hottest Hunks 2010 Poll being conducted by Mykiru Isyusero.

As of 12 noon today, December 24, all three of them have 5% (rounded off) of the total votes and they alternately rank on top since the poll opened last December 17.

Ivan Dorschner drunk at a party?

There's a widespread rumor on Twitter and Facebook that PBB Teen Clash of 2010 5th Big Placer Ivan Dorschner allegedly got drunk at a
birthday party recently.

It was Joe Vargas' birthday party and attended by former PBB Teen Clash housemates such as Ivan, Tricia Santos, Patrick Sugui, Jovic Susim, Richard Ng, Ann Li and James Reid.

It all started when someone, who was also at the party, tweeted that Ivan made no "pansin" of Tricia but not when he was drunk and made & already making quot;papansin" to her.

On Facebook, there's another version alleging that Ivan got drunk because he was jealous of Tricia being close to James in the said party.

Tricia later defended Ivan on Twitter by denying the rumor: "Gusto ko lang pong i-clarify, hindi po lasing si Ivan kagabi :) please RT :)
thank you po :)."

So, that's it! I hope the rumor will die down already.

The picture above was taken at Joe's party and as you can see, Ivan looks pinkish but definitely doesn't mean he was drunk that time. So
probably he was only mistaken as such.

Maybe he was "nakainom lang" and not "lasing" because a drunk person is already crawling when he goes home from a party.

And besides, as an Irish guy, Ivan is naturally pinkish, just like this old photo of him:

Shirtless James Reid and Bret Jackson

Why is it always a delight to see PBB Teen Clash 2010 housemates James Reid and Bret Jackson shirtless? Does anyone have an answer to that?
















With Bret in the last picture is his dad. If you did watch last night's eviction, Bret's father was there and he was cool and groovy.

He was there to fetch Bret but that didn't happen as Tricia Santos was the one who got evicted.

And you know what? Tricia is evicted already, but right at this moment, at 4 pm, she's trending again on Twitter. It's a big thing because a lot of Twitter users are talking about the FIFA World Cup but she managed to enter the Top 10 worldwide, peaking at #7.

She's by far the only housemate ever to have trended on Twitter for more than 5 times. And apart from being the only housemate being evicted on a Friday night, Tricia is also the only housemate who will be with Mariel Rodriguez on PBB Über for one week.

Tricia Santos evicted from PBB Teen Clash 2010

Davao's Tricia Santos has been evicted tonight from the PBB house when
her haters have outnumbered her supporters during the 7th eviction of
PBB Teen Clash 2010.

The most nominated housemate this season, Tricia was able to survive 5
evictions, but not the 6th time when PBB launched the "Vote to Evict"
system this season.

Tricia had a high "Vote to Evict" percentage of 31.89 which was
deducted from her Votes to Save and obviously, she got a negative
difference, the lowest among the 4 nominees.

Jenny 3.44%

VOTES TO EVICT:

I actually felt sad that Tricia was evicted. After surviving 5
evictions, she should at least reach the Big Night.

Big 6 on the Big Night of PBB Teen Clash 2010

A big revelation was made tonight on PBB Teen Clash 2010: There will be a "Big 6" on the Big Night. Do we have to be happy?

It's actually great to hear that for the first time in PBB history, there will be 6 housemates on the Big Night.

And it's also great that the teenternationals and the Pinoy housemates will now have 3 slots each, meaning equal chances for both sides. But for the teenter fans, it's unfair as it could also mean that there will only be 50% chance for a teenternational to be a big winner. And there's also a big possibility that the Big Winner will still be a Pinoy, so as to avoid objections.

Currently in-house are 4 Pinoys and 5 Teenters. It has also become unfair that 2 from the Teenters will still have to leave while only 1 from Pinoys has to go.

The voting for the latest set of nominees continues until Wednesday and 1 among Tricia, Devon, Jenny and Bret will be evicted.

It was also announced by Big Brother that if one between Tricia and Devon will be evicted, the 3 remaining Pinoy housemates will be automatically be included in the Big 6. And a new voting will begin for the 5 teenters to determine the Top 3 from them who will join the Big Night.

But if Bret or Jenny leaves, the voting will run for all 8 housemates and the 6 (3 Pinoy, 3 Teenternat'l) who will get the highest votes are this edition's Big 6.

Angelo Pasco, forced evicted; James Reid to return inside the PBB house

Angelo Pasco from Antique has been forced evicted from PBB Teen Clash 2010 after he was rushed to the hospital yesterday and failed to come back within 24 hours.

Angelo's doctor has not permitted him to go back the house because of his condition, which the doctor considers as infectious. Apparently, Angelo wasn't given a medical clearance to be able to come back within the 24-hour deadline.


He becomes the 4th housemate this season to be given a Forced Eviction, after Maichel Fideles, Eslove Briones and Shey Bustamante. (A record!)

Angelo has managed to survive 4 evictions. And the forced eviction definitely saddens those who voted him hoping he will end up in the Big 5.


As for Australian housemate James Reid who was also admitted to the hospital hours later than Angelo, he will be back inside the house by tomorrow morning.

It was announced by Kuya earlier that James is still under observation and the doctor is yet to give him his medical clearance. It will be a big loss for PBB if in case this well-followed housemate and Big 5 potential won't be able to come back. That's why, PBB will do everything to have him back even if he's not really fully recovered.

Meanwhile, the voting for this week's nominees (Tricia Santos, Bret Jackson, Devon Seron and Jenny Kim) has already resumed tonight, but the eviction happens next week.

No one will be evicted this coming Saturday, June 5 because of Angelo's forced eviction.

Now, it's a big question why the voting had to be temporarily stopped last night. It's so confusing!

PBB Teen Clash voting this week has been stopped

Just half an hour ago, PBB Teen Clash 2010 voting for this week has
been stopped. But why?


For sure, those who are actively campaigning "BBE TRICIA" on Twitter
and in some fora will be very disappointed to hear this.


However, the PBB alert being flashed on our TV screens now says
"pansamantalang pinatitigil ang botohan", which means the voting suspension is only temporary.


Does it have something to do with housemates Angelo Pasco and James Reid, who got sick and have been
rushed to the hospital? But they're not nominated, so why does the voting
has to be suspended?


And since the PBB Big Night is fast appoaching, they couldn't afford to lose many housemates this week.

If James and Angelo don't come back inside the house within 24 hours, they'll be given a forced eviction. But if they come back, the voting will resume and one among Tricia Santos, Jenny Kim and Bret Jackson will be evicted on Saturday.

Evicted: Joe Vargas, Jack Yoon, Sophia Ko and Patrick Sugui

Four housemates were sent home on PBB Teen Clash 2010 6th Eviction Night.

Pinoy housemates Joe Vargas and Patrick Sugui, and Teenternationals Jack Yoon and Sophia Ko, both from Korea, are the latest evictees from the house after they got the lowest percentage of votes.

As expected, Australian James Reid got the highest %age among the 4 nominated Teenternationals. He had a very high 68.86%. That's the highest ever this season!

As for the 4 Pinoy housemates up for eviction, Tricia Santos again topped the votes with. For the 5 times she was nominated, she consistently got the highest votes from the viewers.

PBB's Tricia Santos among Twitter's trending topics worldwide

PBB Teen Clash 2010 housemate Tricia Santos has made it to Twitter's trending topic worldwide last night, May 20, 2010.

It happened after it was shown on PBB Primetime the simultaneous birthday celebrations of Tricia and another housemate Devon Seron. Tricia, whose 15th birthday falls on May 18th, had a pool party at the Villa while Devon, who turns 17 on May 20, celebrated her birthday at The Apartment.

Only 5 people attended Tricia's birthday party in the house whereas Devon's b-day celebration had 11 attendees.

Then, viewers talked about Tricia on Twitter, most of them were sympathizing with her. Because of that, 'Tricia' was among the trending topics worldwide on Twitter 2-3 hours, even ranking 5th at one point.

The attendees were just their fellow housemates. Those who attended Tricia's party were teen-ternational housemates James, Ann, Jack, Richard and Jenny. While Devon celebrated her birthday with Pinoy housemates Joe, Ivan, Fretzie, Yen, Kazel, Patrick and Angelo as well
as teenternational housemates Bret, Ryan, Sophia and Carson.

That goes to show that all Pinoy housemates, even the original housemates from the Apartment, don't like Tricia or not that close to her. Little did they realize that it will bring more

Ivan Dorschner is nominated for eviction from PBB Teen Clash 2010

Ivan Dorschner, the PBB Teen Clash 2010 housemate with almost 200,000 fans on Facebook, is nominated for eviction this week. A first for Ivan!

It's too early to tell but with that huge number of fans, Ivan will definitely escape eviction this week.

Other nominees from the Villa are Tricia Santos (for the 4th time), Angelo Pasco (3rd time), Yen Santos (3rd time) and for the 1st time, Kazel Kinouchi.

Interestingly, Yen and Kazel only got 1 point each but they're nominated due to a tie between Angelo and Ivan, with 7 points apiece. Tricia had the most votes - with 11 nomination points.

As for the Apartment housemates, Carson Vince is nominated again for the 2nd consecutive week also with 11 points. He is joined by Richard Na (3 points) and Sophia Ko (6 points), both first-time nominees.

PBB Teen Clash 2010 evicts 3 housemates

Two Pinoy housemates from Villa and one teenternational housemate from the Apartment got evicted from the PBB House.

RESULTS:

Tricia 42.49%
Angelo 20.25%
Yen 17.05%
Yong 11.67% - evicted
Jovic 8.54% - evicted

Ann 52.54%
Carson 24.13%
April 23.33% - evicted

I actually expected Jovic and April to leave, but not Yong. I feel sad for him coz he has been doing so good in the house.

I was expecting for Angelo to go, but he managed to placed 2nd and even beat Yen. Wow, people from Antique are indeed in full support for him.

PBB's build-up and much exposure for Angelo this week probably helped him a lot. Remember, her mother entered the house as a servant to the housemates in exchange of a scholarship for her son. But I think the touching build-up for Angelo was unfair for the other nominees, most especially for Yong.

Patrick Sugui: Tricia has a body odor!

While eating on the dining table with Joe Vargas and Ivan Dorschner, Patrick Sugui said (while chewing food), "Tricia has a body odor..."

That's what was shown on PBB Teen Clash 2010 tonight. And the boys were kinda harsh and mean.

A girl's body odor is definitely a big turn-off for the boys and being talked about as having a bad odor is the worst thing a girl could hear from the opposite s-x.

Joe even said that Tricia (Santos) keeps used towel in the box for 3 days. "She's cute...but disgusting," he said.

I think if they really don't like Tricia's smell, the boys should have atleast seeked help from one female housemate close to Tricia so she could change her habit.

Tomorrow is another nomination night, it's not a surprise if Tricia gets nominated again because of her smell.

5 from the Pinoy housemates and 3 Teen-ternational housemates are nominees for eviction this Saturday.

The 5 nominees among the Pinoy housemates are Tricia Santos (with 13 big points), Angelo Pasco (9 pts) and with 3 points each, Yen Santos, Jovic Susim and Yong Gopez.

Teen-ternational nominees are Carson Vince (10 pts), April Sun (5 pts) and Anne Li (4 pts).

Two Pinoy housemates and 1 teenternational housemate with the lowest number of text and online votes will leave on Saturday.

Those who nominated Tricia said she's 'sobrang arte', 'nagmamarunong', 'nagkikwento ng walang katotohanan' and always talks about boys or crushes.

Patrick nominated Jovic 'coz he's so touch with the girls.

Carson nominated Bret because he's the laziest housemate will Richard finds Anne so talkative and irritating.

'Trivan' of PBB, love them or hate them?

From Kimerald to Melason, and now Trivan?


PBB Teen Clash 2010 has just started last Saturday and in just 2 days, there's already a loveteam in the house: Tricia Mae Santos and Ivan Dorschner or now coined as 'TRIVAN'.

It all started when PBB 24/7 Live Feed subscribers caught the two so close and sweet and always seen together. Televiewers are yet to see it on primetime, but on PBB Uber, host Mariel Rodriguez already acknowledged the 'Trivan' loveteam.

However, if there are Trivan lovers, there are also 'Anti-Trivan' people at the other corner.

Trivan is only 14 years old, the youngest housemate, while Ivan is already 19, the oldest housemate. And because of that, some think they're 'unlikely'.

While others don't like the loveteam to exist because, they don't like Tricia for Ivan. The reason? Tricia is said to be not acting her age and is the one who's making advances to Ivan. 'Flirt' is the term they are using to describe it.

But some Tricia supporters defend her by saying that Tricia, who is only 14, is still childish and only finds Ivan as her 'kuya'.

Ivan and Tricia are caught on live feed getting affectionate to each other this early. And Kuya probably should call the two's attention before it goes deeper.

It's indeed a season of clash as the two warring groups are clashing online. On Facebook, they have their respective fan pages. As I write this, Trivan Fan Page has 346 fans while the Anti-Trivan page now has 4,527 fans.
