'Glee' return of Charice will be this April 19 | She will sing 'All By Myself'

Glee Season 2 is back this April 19 (April 20 in Manila) after a 1-month break and the show's comeback episode also marks the return of Pinoy pride Charice.

The new episode, which is already the Glee Season 2's 17th episode, is entitled "A Night of Neglect" and Charice will be reprising her role as Sunshine Corazon, who was already part of Glee Season 2 debut last September.

Charice will be singing the Eric Carmen/Celine Dion hit "All By Myself". Here's a teaser video of her performance:

Also set to return on Glee Season 2's "A Night of Neglect" episode is Gwyneth Paltrow as Miss Holly Holiday.

Her return on Glee is actually one of the many great things happening for Charice this month onwards.

On April 18, her single "Before It Explodes" which is written by Bruno Mars will be released on iTunes and Amazon.com.

Another song entitled "Louder" will be released in May, then one more, "Waiting Outside the Lines", a song by Youtube sensation Greyson Chance which features Charice.

Charice is also filming the Hollywood movie "Here Comes the Boom", where she portrays the role of student of Music. The movie is topbilled by Salma Hayek, Kevin James and Henry Winkler.

Ogie Diaz issues apology to Charice and her fans for offensive Twitter remarks

Ogie Diaz has already issued today his public apology to Charice and her fans, the Chasters.

It's in connection with Ogie Diaz's opinion against Charice published in his column at Pinoy Parazzi and for his Twitter remarks against the "Glee" Star.

His article in Pinoy Parazzi was titled "Charice, walang 'K' magpaka-Hollywood sa Pinas" and was published yesterday.

Ogie allegedly also posted foul tweets on Twitter against the Chasters days before his write-up.

As reported on TV Patrol earlier, Ogie said sorry both via his Twitter account (@ogiediaz) and thru an official statement read on the said news program.

    Watch video...

If you visit Ogie Diaz's Twitter page, all of his tweets within the last 24 hours are apologies to Charice and her fans.

He's reaching out to Charice on Twitter but the latter is still silent and hasn't posted a single tweet yet since last week.

With Ogie posting tweets of apologies many times already instead of his usual blind items and playing jokes with his followers, it makes some people wonder why all of a sudden Ogie becomes apologetic just a day after his negative write-up against Charice and

How true is the rumor that Ogie was pressured to say a public apology because he's allegedly threatened by ABS-CBN to be removed from his two Kapamilya shows, E-Live and "Mutya", if he won't do so?

    Does anyone know about it?

Jasmine Curtis met her crush Mark Salling in Boracay

Jasmine Curtis' wish to see Glee star Mark Salling in Boracay has been granted.

The new TV5 star is currently at the Discovery Shores in Boracay with actress sister Anne Curtis, celebrity friends Solenn Heussaff, Carla Humphries and Anne's boyfriend Erwan Heussaff.

When Jasmine arrived in Boracay yesterday, she posted this message to Mark on Twitter: "Hey @Mark_Salling, meet us for dinner tonight here in Bora. I'd like to meet u and it seems like everyone wants us to meet too."

Even Solenn also wanted to see Mark before she left for Boracay. "See you in Boracay LOL (@mark_salling)."

And here's a scoop: Mark was able to read Jasmine's tweet (then googled her name) and he indeed looked for Jasmine in Boracay.

They met each other not last night though but just this afternoon.

On this photo by Spot.ph, Mark is seen here, shirtless and only covered with a towel (Jasmine is in black bra at the back):

Mark reportedly was attracted to Jasmine right at that moment. But the sad thing is, he had to leave Boracay already. Oh that's sad. :( [Latest Update: Mark's flight was cancelled so he's staying one more night in Bora]

But look who's following Jasmine Curtis now:

Mark is following only 18 people and Jasmine is luckily one of them.

He definitely is having the greatest vacation of his life here in the Philippines. He's enjoying the beauty of Boracay and most of all, he met Jasmine.

And with this latest tweet by Solenn just this afternoon, it seems like they're gonna see each other again in 2011:

Mark Salling and Manny Pacquiao together in Boracay on Christmas Day

Mark Salling has finally confirmed that he's indeed in Boracay and he's absolutely loving that beautiful island in the Philippines.

At around 6PM today, the GLEE star posted this greeting on Twitter:

"Merry Christmas from the beautiful island of Boracay."

That's 4 days after Mark was reported going to Boracay when photos of him and some Filipino flight attendants heading to Manila surfaced on the net.

But it looks like he has arrived in Boracay, just now.

Well-traveled Filipino blogger Ivan Henares could confirm this on his blog because he was on the same flight with Mark today, from Manila to Boracay. He has some photos with Mark and here's one of them:

    Mark Salling flight to Boracay

How can he be so lucky? For sure, Ivan had one of the most unforgettable travels of his life.

So, where was Mark, from Tuesday until Friday?

Last night, while everyone's waiting for the Christmas Eve, GMA 7
reporter Joseph Morong tweeted that he saw Mark eating at a local pizza chain in Makati. "saw glee's Mark Salling, eating at a local pizza hut a wyl ago. A mom and her daughter askd 2 have their pics taken w/ him. I was too shy to ask."

He then went on to describe Mark as very tall and his guy companion as too small. "Mark Salling in Makati with a guy who could have been d guy from The Mentalist? Myt be too small. Was there around 840sh pm. Wore gray. Very tall."

"Very quiet. A mom and a daughter took a pic with him. Girl asks: Are u from Glee? Sed yes and obliged hehe,"

That goes to show Mark is very approachable and accomodating to the fans.

I have also known from a source just today that Mark checked in to the A. Venue Hotel Suites in Makati City last night.

Could it be possible that Mark arrived in Boracay on Tuesday, then flew to Manila yesterday and then back to Boracay today?

    Whatever!

But what's all that matters now is the confirmation from Mark himself that he's in Boracay now and he finds it beautiful - a big boost to the island, which is among the top tourist destinations in the Philippines.

And guess who celebrated Christmas with Mark Salling in Boracay?

    Mark Salling and Manny Pacquiao
Mark Salling posts on Twitter: "Christmas dinner with my boy Manny Pacquiao".

Mark Salling tweets photos from his Christmas vacation in Boracay | He's got a new "bf"!

Mark Salling aka Puck of GLEE is definitely enjoying his Christmas vacation in Boracay, Philippines.

Mark finally updated his Twitter account yesterday afternoon and he happily told his followers that he's got a new "bf" as in best friend.

He didn't actually disclose where he is, but it looks like he's enjoying a break in a place where he can enjoy the fresh air and the great view of the beach.

Mark posted again the same day another photo of him and his new buddy, this time a much clearer picture of them:

Oh cute! [Both of them are cute!]

Will Mark bring his newfound friend to the US?

I hope, next time, he will post pics of him shirtless on the beach of Boracay.

And maybe, Mark and Manny Pacquiao, who's also having a grand vacation in Bora, will bump into each other there.

Mark Salling of "Glee" vacationing in Boracay

    MYKIRU'S FIRST CATCH

Mark Salling, who plays Noah Puckerman or Puck in the hit US TV series GLEE, is reportedly here in the Philippines for a Christmas vacation.

That's what's being talked about now on Twitter after another Glee star, Darren Criss, has arrived in Manila this morning for a show at Greenbelt 3 in Makati tonight and another show tomorrow at Trinoma. (Read: Darren Criss arrives in Manila for two mall shows)

Some say Mark Salling is vacationing now in Boracay and others are saying that he's going to be Darren Criss' guest for his show tonight. Which is true? Or both are true?

Mark reportedly left the US for Manila on Sunday evening.

According to professional make-up artist Jigs Mayuga on Twitter, his flight attendant friend from the Philippine Airlines has confirmed to him that Mark is indeed here in the Philippines. "CONFEEERMED. @Mark_Salling (Puck) is spending Xmas in Boracay. ATAK na mga Gleeks!!!"

And he also posted this picture of Mark Salling with Filipino flight attendants from the Philippine Airlines onboard his flight to Manila:

Another Twitter user, France Del Rosario, shared this photo coming from her friend's mom who got up close and personal with Mark Salling:

Darren Criss Live in Manila mall shows at Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma

Darren Criss, the Fil-Irish star of "Glee", has already arrived in Manila, Philippines just this morning, December 21, 2010.

Darren Criss close-up photoDarren Criss shirtless pic

The 23-year-old singer-actor who plays Glee's Blaine, an openly gay student, will have a show later, 6:30 PM, at the Greenbelt 3 Park in Makati City and another one tomorrow, December 22, 7PM, at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City.

I've heard as early as 2 PM today, there's a huge crowd already at Greenbelt as fans begin to line up at the venue.

Darren Criss' mom is originally from Cebu and this is not his first time to be here in the country.

On his Twitter account, he posted this before he left for Manila: "Goin back to the Philippines... Sweet! So pumped! Wonder if they'll serve lumpia on the plane..."

And then at 11:00 AM today, Darren logged on again on Twitter to tell everyone that he's now here in Manila. "Hello, Manila. So good to see you again!"

And where did he take his lunch?

According to chachachanel on Twitter, she saw Darren at Chateau 1771 in Greenbelt 5. "I took my mom to Chateau 1771 and HELLO, IT'S DARREN CRISS."

    Oh, she was so lucky!

But you're more lucky if you already have this CD Signing Stub for tonight's show:

And here's a photo of Darren Criss rehearsing at the venue:

Mark Salling, Darren's co-star in Glee, is also reported to have arrived here in the Philippines for a Christmas vacation at the beautiful Boracay. (Read it HERE)

Leading the pack of nominees for the movie categories is the film "The King's Speech" with 7 nominations, followed by "The Fighter" and "The Social Network" with 6 each while "Black Swan" and "The Kids Are All Right" each has 4 nods.

I'm so happy that "Inception" scored 4 nominations, but all under non-acting categories. (So sad for Leonardo Di Caprio). It's nominated as Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Director for Christopher Nolan.

Johnny Depp is the only actor who got a double nominations this year and it's only under one category. He is both nominated for "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Tourist" under the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy / Musical.

“One nomination would of course be a great honor, but two, is simply astonishing. I am floored, truly, by the HFPA’s kindness and generosity. I wish to thank them dearly, as well as all those many wonderful souls who made the films in question possible. My deepest gratitude and respect goes out to you all," Depp told HFPA.

Nov 16 - a holiday and release date of Glee Christmas Album

Philippine President Noynoy Aquino has signed on Tuesday Proclamation No. 60 declaring November 16, 2010 as a national non-working holiday in the country.

According to the declaration, November 16 is the Feast of Eid’l Adha, a major religious celebration for the Muslim people.

While some Filipino people get excited for the nearing holiday, fans of the hit US TV show "GLEE" meanwhile are also excited for November 16 because it's the release date of Glee Christmas Album.

The album is titled "Glee: The Music — The Christmas Album" contains 12 tracks sang by some of the Glee cast members. Unfortunately, our dear Charice isn't part of it.

    Here's the song listing:

    1. "We Need a Little Christmas" (Jenna Ushkowitz, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer)
    2. "Deck the Rooftop" (Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz)

"Glee Stars on GQ Magazine" Photo Scandal

"Glee" stars Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele take a break from being wholesome to being wild, provocative and scandalous on the latest issue of GQ Magazine.

I'm actually kinda shocked to see these pictures from GQ Magazine. Though the three are above 18 years old (Dianna and Lea are both 22 while Cory is 28), their racy photos for GQ are so much far from their roles in "Glee" where they play high school students and a lot of youngsters idolize them much.

What's more shocking in the pictures is that the guy is fully dressed but the girls stripped down to their sexy underwear. That's so unfair!

    Take a look!

Charice's "Listen" debuts at # 38 on Billboard Hot 100

Charice's own version of Beyonce's "Listen" makes an impressive debut on Billboard Hot 100.

The song, which Charice (as Sunshine Corazon) sang on Glee Season 2 Premiere the other week, debuts at #38 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart.

It's kinda impressive because according to Examiner.com, Beyonce's version peaked at #61 back in 2007.

That means, Beyonce's version reached its highest position at #61 and definitely it debuted lower than #61, much lower than that of Charice. Wow!

Charice's "Listen" is also making a debut on Billboard Top 40 Digital Songs (at #19) and on Canadian Hot 100 (at #51).

Another "Glee" song, "Telephone", which was a duet by Lea Michele and Charice, has also landed on the latest Billboard Hot 100, debuting at a high #23. It's also #11 on Top 40 Digital Songs and #17 on Canadian Hot 100.

Charice shines on Glee Season 2 Premiere (Episode 1, September 21, 2010)

Did you miss Glee's Season 2 Premiere? If yes, then you missed to watch how impressive Charice was.

Lea Michele as Rachel, Charice as Sunshine Corazon on Glee

Glee Season 2 just had its premiere Tuesday night, September 21, 2010 (Wednesday morning in Manila) on Fox Network and our very own Charice made her debut on Glee as Sunshine Corazon, an exchange student from the Philippines.

And despite being a newbie in the show, Charice shined and impressed the televiewers with her rendition of Telephone (with Lea Michele) and Listen.

I gathered tweets from some Glee fans or the Gleeks on Twitter and they truly were wowed by Charice's debut appearance in the show. They described her as amazing, phenomenal and incredible. (And they are non-Filipinos!)

KristieAnn: Looking up videos of this Charice girl singing (who played Sunshine on #glee) and holy crap she's AMAZING!

iBrittt: I think I just died and went to heaven...Sunshine on GLEE is PHENOMENAL! Gahhhh soo stoked for next weeks Glee (:

JesseP_Break_Me: Charice/Sunshine gave me shiver-me-timbers during her audition. That girl has some pipes! *thuds* Incredible!

lacanvasser: #glee songs are better than real songs. Also, where did this new Sunshine chick come from? She's incredible!

ffjewelry: Who played Sunshine on Glee? What a beautiful voice!

Melapaloosa: #GLEE Holy sh@t! Charice! Damn, talk about blowing a song out of the water! Seriously, Seriously impressed over here. #gleeks

Aside from those tweets, Charice also got positive reviews from entertainment writers. Laura of Hollywood Life wrote an article entitled "Step Aside, Lea Michele - Charice Should Totally Be The New Queen Bee of "Glee"! and according to Laura, she finally gets why Charice is being called the most talented girl in the world after hearing her sing in the show.

"I'm glad that SOMEONE finally gave Rachel (Lea Michele) a run for her money. As Filipino foreign exchange student Sunshine Corazon, Charice stole the show! Although her bathroom scene rendition of Beyonce and Lady Gaga's "Telephone" was fab, I absolutely had chills when she sang "Listen" from Dreamgirls," Laura says.

Tim Stack of Entertainment Weekly is also impressed with Charice's voice. He writes, "The entire episode was witty and packed with ah-mazing musical performances (hello Sunshine!)...Sunshine's voice is insane, especially considering she's about the size of a lawn gnome and dresses like a Harajuku girl."

On Google Search, Charice immediately become one of the most-searched items right after Glee premier. The query "charice glee" ranked at a very high #5 on Top 100 Google Hot Trends worldwide. Both "Charice" and "Sunshine Corazon" were also among the Top 10 Trending Topics on Twitter.

I feel so proud of Charice!

Aside from Charice, also made their debut on Glee Season 2 "Audition" episode were Chord Overstreet as Sam Evans and Dot Jones as Coach Beastie.

Next week's episode of Glee Season 2 will be more exciting as it pays tribute to Britney Spears, who's also making a special appearance.
