John Apacible was shot dead Sunday morning in Cainta, Rizal.
GMA News reported that Apacible whose real name is Enrique Rustia Apacible III was shot by his own uncle identified as Armando Rustia and sustained two gunshot wounds in the chest.
He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
An ABS-CBN report meanwhile states that John and his uncle were drinking together before it led to a heated argument. The suspect's wife alleged that it was John who first attacked his uncle and the latter only acted in self-defense.
John was 38 years old.

John Apacible was a model and a varsity player from Philippine School of Business Administration (PSBA) in Quezon City before he became a famous sexy actor in the 90's.
