There are 24 award categories on this year's Oscars.
The film "The King's Speech" leads the nominees with 12 nods, including Best Actor for Colin Firth, who's being predicted to win the award.
"True Grit" follows with 10 nominations. Fil-Am Hailee Steinfeld is nominated as Best Supporting Actress for this film. Not the favorite to win, but let's all hope she pulls a surprise and takes her first Oscar award.
With 8 noms each are two of my fave films last year: "The Social Network" and "Inception".
Is it just me who's excited to see Best Actor nominee Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield of "The Social Network"? Or you are too?
Hosting the Oscar Awards 2011 are Anne Hathaway and James Franco, with a bigtime line-up of presenters including Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, Scarlett Johannson, Reese Witherspoon, Justin Timberlake, Sandra Bullock, Robert Downey Jr, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hale Berry, Cate Blanchett, Jude Law, Hugh Jackman and Oprah Winfrey.
