It was already reported on a tabloid last week that Sam Milby celebrated his 26th birthday in Boracay, not with Anne Curtis, but with a new girl identified as Marie Digby.
Marie, 27, is a Japanese-American singer who was an internet sensation in 2007 when a Youtube video of her singing an acoustic version of "Umbrella" gained million of hits. She's now a recording artist in the US.
She even staged a concert here in the Philippines last August, 2009 and last week, she was here for the 2nd time just for Sam's birthday. How special!
SNN got the chance last night to ask Sam's reaction on the issue and he confirmed they were together in Boracay, but quick to add that they're just good friends.
However, Sam's gesture during his SNN interview tells otherwise. He was trying to hide it at first, but not until the interviewer mentioned Digby.
I'll try make a follow-up story about Sam and Marie in Boracay later 'coz I have just been informed that the two were allegedly seen "chilling" at Hey Jude Bar during their stay in Bora. I'm hoping that my source will give me juicy details about it. Goodnight for now!
