Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West was arrested by the police Thursday morning, September 11, 2008 at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The arrest indeed happened on the day of commemorating the 9/11 tragedy in the US.
As what have been reported, Kanye West was arrested for felony vandalism charges after an altercation or a heated dispute occurred between the camp of West and two paparazzi.
A camera by a photographer was damaged and is believed to be costing more than 10,000 dollars (£5,700).
Aside from West, Don Crowley, his road manager, was also arrested.
West and his team were supposed to go on board to Honolulu, Hawaii.
