The 12th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) has been formally opened on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the Universal CityWalk in Hollywood.
Hosted by Emmy winner Bob Eubanks, the ceremony also introduced over 40 participating countries, including the Philippines.
Two Grand Champions Jed Madela and Aria Clemente, both from the Philippines, performed for the said event.

The finals for this year's WCOPA will be held this Friday, July 25, 2008 at Grand Ballroom, Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
