It will be first shown on Disney Channel at 7:55 PM and then on the internet via Disney.com at 12 midnight.
The previous two High School Musical movies were movies made for television and were shown on Disney Channel.
The movie still has the lovable cast which includes Zac Efron, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Blue, Monique Coleman, Ryne Sanborn, Chris Warren Jr. and Bart Johnson.
High School Musical 3: Senior Year is slated for release in theaters on October 24, 2008 (October 22 in the Philippines).
In Great Britain, HSM 3 will be shown a week earlier.
Since it is a musical movie (not to mention a High School Musical), the anticipation is also high for its official soundtrack, which comes out on October 21, 2008.
