Charice Pempengco loses passports

Fast-rising international singing sensation Charice Pempengco unfortunately has lost important belongings to the evil Bukas Kotse Gang. It includes a Lacoste bag, mobile phones, an ATM card, keys and the passports which helped her out in travelling abroad.

When robbers strike, not even the country's pride is spared. This is what international young star-singer Charice Pempengco learned the hard way after she lost her passport and other valuables to suspected Bukas Kotse Gang members while eating dinner in Calamba, Laguna Wednesday night.

Pempengco said she and her mother, Raquel, had stopped for dinner at Tuding's Restaurant in Calamba with their driver and helper. After 30 minutes, they returned to their Toyota Hi-Ace van (XGM-508) and were suprised to discover that her mom's black Lacoste bag was missing.

Pempengco said the bag contained two mobile phones (p910i and T610), passports, ATM card and the keys to their house.

She said they immediately went to a police station and reported the incident. An unidentified witness said he saw three men circling the area before the robbery.

Pempengco is now asking the public to help her recover their passports, which would allow her to continue guesting in concerts overseas. "Just please return the passports, not the cellphone or the other things but just the passports," Pempengco begged.

Pempengo has scheduled guest appearances on ABS-CBN variety show ASAP '08 this Sunday and in Wowowee on March 15 and 17.

After sending home Colton Berry, Garret Haley, Amy Davis and Joanne Borgella last week, four more American Idol 7 hopefuls had to step down Thursday night, February 28, 2008.

Jason Yeager, the 28-year old guy who admitted his lucky charm is a pair of underwear he wears to every big event in his life, was the first one to be eliminated. Probably, he wore a different underwear that night.

Yeager's elimination was expected but for the three others, it was a big surprise.

Youngest contestant Alaina Whitaker and Alexandrea Lushington, who sang If You Leave Me Now the previous night, were the next to leave.

But the most surprising was the elimination of Britney Spears' rumored ex-boyfriend Robbie Carrico, who in a way, had more professional experiences than the other contestants.

Next week, each of the Top 16 remaining finalists will strive once again to gain a slot in the Top 12.

Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 4th Big Placer Will Devaughn has been voted Mykiru's Ultimate Hunk of the Year (2007) by garnering 25% of 887 unique votes.

Even before PBB, Will Devaughn was already a sought-after hunk especially when he was chosen as one of the Top 10 Celebrity Centerfolds of Cosmopolitan Magazine back in 2006.

His role in the MMFF 2007 hit movie Desperadas as Marian Rivera's boyfriend proved he could be the next Sam Milby, who can totally act in a Filipino film despite speaking Tagalog poorly.

Unlike Sam Milby who is half-Pinoy, Will Devaughn is not actually a Filipino.

The best feature of Will is I guess his being effortless to look like a hunk.

Now one of the ASAP Cover Boys, Will Devaughn has also been chosen to be the new endorsers of JAG Jeans and still for HBC, as well as having modelled for Frenzy, Tropicana Twister, ION, Revicon and Century Tuna, perfect endorsements for a gorgeous hunk like him.

Produced by Ara Mina herself, it also stars sexy actor Paolo Paraiso plus the support of great actors such as Ian Veneracion and the great Eddie Garcia.

It seems like one significant film, but I hope it's not going to be a sexy version of the 2002 movie Magkapatid, starring Sharon Cuneta and Judy Ann Santos, or with that of 2004's Kuya, which starred Richard Gutierrez, Angel Locsin and Cogie Domingo.

ATE is directed by Lore Reyes and will be shown in theaters on March 05, 2008.

Rock legend Gene Simmons, now 58, is believed to have a s*x tape available online with an Aussie blonde reportedly named Elsa, who happens to be not his girlfriend.

The worst part of it is that, Simmons has a longtime girlfriend in the person of Shannon Tweed, a former Playboy playmate whom he has two kids.

The alleged video scandal could affect his family of course.

Simmons and the blonde girl were believed to have worked together in promoting Frank's energy drink.

I saw the trailer of the said video and some screencaps, and I find it so disgusting. It's not delightful to watch, I swear.

For 2007, ABS-CBN was the clear leader in the National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), according to a survey conducted by AGB Nielsen.

Three ABS-CBN shows such as Kokey, Princess Sarah and Sana Maulit Muli were the three rulers in NUTAM 2007 while GMA 7 has to be thankful of Marimar for imposing a big threat in the survey.

AGB Nielsen also released over-all ratings of both GMA and ABS-CBN in Mega Manila.

Josiah Leming, the boy who lives in his own car and probably the most popular American Idol Season 7 non-finalist, was invited to guest and perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

As interviewed by Ellen herself, Josiah promised not to cry anymore, laughing out at the tearjerking moment when he was eliminated in American Idol.

Josiah sang his original composition "To Run", one beautiful, meaningful song.

The competition tightens up in the American Idol Season 7 as the Top 12 boys finally each had to sing his breakthrough performance last night, February 19, 2008 in a chance to get a slot in the Top 12 (6 slots for the males).

The night signals the time when fans can finally vote for their favorites and the bottom 2 guys shall be eliminated on Thursday, February 21, 2008.

For the 1st performance night, the boys had to sing songs from the 60's.

Now entitled Chances, Filipino drama series Sana Maulit Muli has just premiered in Taiwan Monday, February 18, 2008.

I'm not sure if it's the first time Taiwan has aired a Filipino show, but I find it interesting because it's about time that the Taiwanese people admire Filipino talents after the sucess of Taiwanese shows in the Philippines, like Meteor Garden and It Started With A Kiss.

On the website Taiwan Public Television Service, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, stars of Chances (Sana Maulit Muli) are on the front page and treated as main attraction for the site.

The premiere of the show yesterday was even tagged as an "international day of love" and describes the show as a quality drama and Philippines' most popular show in 2007.

According to the site, Kimerald has become a household star and top screen couple because of the show's success in the Philippines.

Chances also uses the theme song, Sana Maulit Muli, sang by Gary Valenciano.

In an article by Allan Diones for Abante-Tonite, Kapuso star Richard Gutierrez did not deny that she watched KC Concepcion on Kapamilya show Maalaala Mo Kaya last Friday.

According to Richard, KC's acting was great and he even called to congratulate her.

He was on the set of Kamandag when he watched the said special episode of MMK.

The actor was also asked if he is already courting KC and analyzing his answer, it seems like he's already into it.

Richard also confessed he gave KC a Valentine present.

Here's an excerpt of the said interview:

Kumusta ang Araw ng mga Puso niya?
“Okey naman. Nag-basketball lang ako with the family! Ha! Ha! Ha!”

Kumusta nga ang V-day niya? May date ba siya?
“Oh, man! Hindi… may get together kaming family…”

Pagkatapos no’n, may ka-date ba siya?
“Hindi ko yata pwedeng sabihin,” tila naguguluhang sagot sa amin ni Chard.

Bakit, may ibang karelasyon ba ang ka-date niya?
“Ha! Ha! Ha!” tawa lang niya.

Sino ba? A. Si KC Concepcion o B. Si Jewel Mische?
“Hindi… basta nu’ng Valentine’s, nagbigay ako ng gift kay KC. First time ko siyang binigyan ng gift,” tila nahihiya pang pag-amin niya.

Anong sabi ni KC?
“Masaya siya, masaya siya du’n sa gift ko.”

Iniabot niya ba ‘yon nang personal kay KC?
“Ahmmm… secret na lang!” pa-cute na iwas niya.

So, posibleng si KC ang ka-date niya nu’ng V-day?
“Family ko nga ang kasama ko… family and friends!”

Seryosong tanong: may balak na ba siyang ligawan si KC?
“Basta, ‘pag nangyari ‘yung gano’n, malalaman n’yo naman, eh! Pero ngayon, for me kasi, timing is very important. Tingnan natin…” biting sey ni Chard.

Napanood niya ba ang guesting ni KC sa Maalaala Mo Kaya?
“Oo, napanood ko. Kasi, nag-promise ako sa kanya na papanoorin ko, eh! Ang galing niya! I called her and I congratulated her.

“Kasi, I mentioned it to her na ‘pag may chance akong makapanood, papanoorin ko. Eh, nu’ng time na ‘yon sa taping (ng Kamandag), sakto, hindi ako kailangan sa mga eksena.

“It was a big fight scene ng ibang grupo, so matagal akong naghihintay. Kaya napanood ko ‘yung MMK.”

So, kelan niya balak i-pursue ang panliligaw kay KC?
“Proper timing lang ‘yan, eh! Kasi, you know, I just came from a relationship, she just came from a relationship. We can’t jump into conclusions right away.

“Siyempre, gusto ko, step by step and proper timing. So, tingan na lang natin. For now, masayang-masaya ako kung ano ‘yung meron kami!” matamis ang ngiting dayalog ni Chard.

Nagpaalam na ba siya nang pormal sa Mommy Shawie ni KC na liligawan niya ang dalaga nito?
“I met her na, she’s very nice and sweet!”

As in nakadalaw na siya sa bahay nina KC?
“Ahmmm… sa amin na lang siguro ‘yon. Basta na-meet ko na siya (Sharon) a few times. Tingnan na lang natin. Hintayin n’yo na lang ‘pag may confirmation na. Sasabihin ko naman sa inyo nang buong puso, eh!” pangako pa ni Richard.
