INTERRUPTED ROMANCE – A young and handsome and talented actor thought his romance with a controversial actress was for keeps. They met by chance in the US where they renewed a friendship which turned into a love affair. They didn’t really spend much time together, but in such a short while they realized how much they enjoyed each other’s company.
Away from showbiz hassle in the Philippines, they had time to bond in private, see places, eat out in peace. The romance was interrupted as she had to come home to fulfill many commitments and thresh out personal issues. He could have stayed in the US, but the actor also opted to return to the country, even taking the same flight with girlfriend. They decided though not to be seen together, loathe to be talked about.
The actor thought all along sila pa rin, but the actress started behaving as if nothing happened between them in the US. She ignored him and instead started entertaining other suitors, one of whom is reportedly already going steady with her.
He’s more puzzled than hurt, wondering what caused the sudden drifting away. He realized he was used, in a manner of speaking, some kind of "props" to pass the lonely days in the US. But then the actor took the shortlived romance philosophically, "It was fun while it lasted."
